Armor nerfs!!!!!

we still dont know how much yet.

Hopefully they nerf lifesteal with it.

I just read the news:

"A new item or two, plus some small (mainly) adjustments to defensive items (in general Armor items are getting slight nerfs, MR items slight buffs)."

Imo armor doesn't need nerf, early game lifesteal needs buff. or penetration needs to become more interactive/involve good team synergy. like nasus E shreds so much resistance. I would keep armor as is but create more ways to debuff like kayle passive etc.. trundle really good for this too. or give more champions ways of getting armor pen like xin zhao and yasuo (ult) have.

and adequately warn people that they ve been debuffed, the new black cleaver already huge dent in enemy's armor.

I think riot is beginning to realize that end game stats are consistently showing that teams deal as much ap as ad. Hence to need to put them on the same plane in term of resistances. but i think its more a question of buffing mr than nerfing armor.

The issue i think is that lifesteal's so crummy early game gives impression that armor is op. but its lifesteal that is crap early game. I also think its unhealthy to have lifesteal depend on an elixir for it to be properly rounded out. Want to counter armor make lifesteal ignore resistance 2% armor per 12 armor past 80 armor. cap at 20%. its probably a lot of math and would take a toll/load on processing ... but ideally thats what is needed imo. inspired a bit by the new wota.

or if its easier this way: the amount you heal increases by a % based on how much your target has armor.

so lifesteal is calculated as is then a value is added to it.

alternatively i'd be okay with nerfing armor if you nerf penetration. blackcleaver lastwhisper in particular. in turn i might make either more accessible whilst being built. perhaps allow lastwhisper to give say 10% in its build path.
