Help Me Find My Dream Champion :)

ExecutorDill··1 votes·1,261 views

Ok so the below list is what I require in a champion, please help me find my new main =D

  1. They have to have some sort of mobility basic ability (preferably not target-based)
  1. I like champs who can either mitigate or avoid damage If they are squishy. (Optional)
  1. The champion must have at least 1 range nuke.
  1. I hate to play with and against champions who have "AFTER DEATH" passives. Like ZyraKarthusSionKogMaw
  1. An ability that can help allies is ok, but only if I can also use it on myself :)
  1. I love CC in all it's forms especially ranged CC.
  1. I don't really like self-cast abilities but 1 is ok. But please no Udyr
  1. Any ability that is rare would be excellent xD
  1. The ultimate can be anything, just as long as it helps me in some aspect (I prefer game changing ultimates though)
  1. Jungling is my least favourite role x(
  1. Any champion that is pleasing to look at and self rewarding when playing. So no Urgot

Range or Melee, Magic, Physical or Hybrid damage I don't care. Once it's within the above guidelines.

Note: Requirements marked with (Optional) are just things I like but don't really need. If the champ has it though that's awesome.

Please post your suggestions in the comment box. Your help is greatly appreciated xD

list of Champs I already have: Shen Diana XinZhao LeeSin Malzahar

I know it's small don't laugh at me! xD

Budget: 8.4k IP

Thanks Senpai xD it's such a coincidence because I was watching at some Orianna gameplay literally a few hours ago and was wondering if I should buy her. The fact that you suggested her for means that I am on the right track :D Add me!

From what you've listed? Nocturne comes to mind. His Q at high levels, and with some healthy AD, can really hurt from a distance and he has some of the best mobility in the game with his ult up. His Q also makes for a nifty MS boost when trying to get close to someone or get away.

But honestly, given that you're looking for a bit more CC than that and at least one self targeted ability that can also help allies? Nidalee might be the strongest contender.

She has really great mobility from her passive, and her cougar form's pounce can be used to close gaps or to dodge skillshots with relative ease. She has high damage output without having to itemize too heavily into it, and can be played as either a melee bruiser or an ap caster with about the same success. She has a heal that will also increase attack speed, which can either be cast on herself or on allies. Her traps provide some CC options with a bit of health burning damage and vision options. Probably has one of the best long range nukes in the game with her human form Q, although landing it at max range can be tricky since it's kinda easy to dodge. She can also be played top, mid, or as a support so you've got some options with her.

Nidalee.

  1. mobility? she has it on her passive along with a little jump in Cougar mode.
  2. mitigate damage? She can't do that but, hey, she heals herself. (Or build Zhonya's)
  3. She has a range nuke in the late game on her Q. Spammable.
  4. She dies and thats it.
  5. She can heal allies and you can heal yourself. Alongside with a little trap that acts like a ward when it is placed.
  6. Sorry mate, no cc. Unless you build Twin Shadows (Ranged CC).
  7. The self cast one heals you.
  8. Rare ability? Don't have. But, You can snipedown your foes or wound them heavily (every few seconds).
  9. You start the game with your ULT key helping you.
  10. She doesnt jung. However, you can STEAL Dragon, Baron and Buffs with a well placed Q (nuke).
  11. Its a girl. She has a pole dance emote.

Lol ok, iv'e played and rented with her before she's very god champ, but idk there so many choices. And some that fit everything I asked for perfectly, like the suggested Orianna.

You could buy both. Nidalee's Runes are pretty much the same as Orianna's Runes. But, its your call.

Rek'Sai Top.

Rek'Sai is similar to Shen in a lot of ways. He can't efficient shield someone or take heat off allies but he is so much more of a threat. I must buy :D

Malphite. Though he lacks mobility, he doesn't really need it.

Nocturne. His q is more effective at disengaging than you might think. I also like forcing my lane opponent to disengage with E. If they don't, they get feared.

You might really like Jax. He's still very effective if you learn his abilities.

I played Noc a bit in the past he is all right, would definately leave give him another go on free week but their are way too many interesting champs I'd buy before him. Malphite seems like a "solid" pick,

Oh, Noc is much more than alright. Mid to late game Nocs will out duel most other fighters in the game, and he can work as an amazing assassin against targets who are out alone trying to push or something similar. If he's fed he can safely dive into smaller skirmishes and still walk out alive after picking up the triple, and he's a splitpushing beast with just a BotRK and a Hydra.

Hmmm... Interesting. Might have to do my research. Onward to the gameplay videos!

On second thought, considering that your least favorite role is jungler, perhaps you should skip on Noc. He makes for an amazing jungler in the right hands, but he's a very meh laner as his kit is more about opportunistic outmaneuvering and heavy dives, and his only reliable source of poke, as well as his passive cleaves, will push lanes which you don't want to do considering his Q is good for disengages but not good for escapes.

Dryditch1 votes

Mal's super solid, but Cale's right. Nocturne is a great pick for you. If you don't like Jungling, he may not be the best, but he makes my jungles pretty manageable.

When you get him just a wee bit tanky and drop a Hydra on there or a Statikk Shyv, damn oh damn does he hurt and take out lanes well.

As for Malphite, I honestly can't say enough good things about Malphite Top or Malphite Support.

Built full Armor, he's an impenetrable wall of HP and AOE pain on his E.

Built full AP, suddenly you're ulting over walls with craptons of pain and one-shotting ADCs or others foolish enough to get in your way. RWE combo, then Q for the double kill on whichever fool was dumb enough to run.

And then, there's my favorite way to play him. Full AD. Grab some damage, max out your W, and BAM, turrets fall like London Bridge on a windy day. (Plus, the built in cleave is amazing)

Another suggestion on a champ you might enjoy: Maokai

He's really solid as a support or a top. With support, you're guaranteed to run down your stacks on FQC with E pretty fast, which means really good tribute gold in lane, and then you can build as you want.

draven

Umm.. Can you explain to me why Draven? And please do say "because Draaaven" ppl tend to do that :P

Dryditch1 votes

Draven has built in mobility, two spinning axes that can deal out absurd damage, and his crits can get truly insane. That ultimate can pick off an unsuspecting teemo in fountain once you're fed, and there's nothing he can do about it.

Draven's pretty great if you're an ADC main.

Riven does most of that. She doesn't have any directly ally-helping stuff aside from CC (though you said that one more like it's an option), and she doesn't have ranged CC, but she fits pretty much everything else. And her ranged nuke is pretty amazing.

Ahri's also a pretty good choice. Her mobility isn't on a basic ability, but aside from that, she fits the bill pretty well.

Let's see, one more...Oh, Lissandra's a good option. She does the ranged nuking thing, CC, mobility, and a versatile ultimate.

Lux, nukes if fed, can protect herself with her q and long range, has a sheild for everyone that activates twice

I was watching at some Lux gameplay the other day. It's a tough decision between her and Orianna although Lux seems easier, I have never played Ori :(

Galio has everything you want.

And he is especially rare so most noobs cant fight him.

I'd say Lissandra

Sachabot1 votes

Kayle? The ability to help both allies and herself, a way of mitigating damage, soft CC at range, pleasing to look at, could go on but that would be doubling back on abilities. So I'll go in order, ignoring her passive

Q- It's a ranged AP shot that slows. Does decent damage, but not her main source. But it's not a skillshot or anything, just targeted.

W- A targeted heal and MS buff. It's okay. Still, there's a reason she's not played support.

E- A self-targeted range buff that causes you to deal splash damage as well.

R- You make any one targeted ally (including yourself) immune to damage for a short period. It's pretty sweet if you learn to make clutch casts.
