"Omg Trynd crit me 3 times in a row at level 3"

A) no he didn't

B) why'd you let him build fury?

C) why'd you fight him when he had full fury?

D) the quadratic equation states that you take -b +/- the square root of b^2 - 4(a)(c) divided by 2(a). Understanding this, why did you let tyrndamere build fury at level 1? Unless you're nasus, denying trynd fury is a realistic option.

A) no he didn't

Yes he can. Unlikely, but he can.

B) why'd you let him build fury?

you can't stop someone from autoattacking 100% of the time

C) why'd you fight him when he had full fury?

Because hes capable of starting the fight even if you dont want to

D) the quadratic equation states that

Very unlikely and in the event this happens, you fucked up big time.

Yes, you can. You poke/jab/fight him when he attempts to AA minions or last hit. He picks between eating harass for free or being zoned. In both cases, he loses. Trynds early levels are not that good, it's his later levels where he starts getting silly.

Because hes capable of starting the fight even if you dont want to

How? Lol you walk away. If he chases you to fight you through a creep wave, he's going to lose that fight early.

I'd argue that RNG just fucking hates you rather than fucking up big time. Nothing really prevents him from critting 3 times in a row except his RNG.

I don't pretend tryndamere is well designed but the "I got crit 3 times in a row at level -16" crowd is unbearable. Trynds early game is not what should be complained about.

i only get mad cos he feels like one giant cheesy shit when his only lane pattern is to farm up fury (if he can) and then E onto me and hope he gets a crit or 2 and then pop ignite and try to run me down

but I've started playing Mordekaiser into him and sitting on my minion wave so he never gets to play the game without his jungler setting up tent

Yeah, I think he's a terribly designed champion and his path of inevitability is rather unhealthy. But he is exploitable early and there are some options in dealing with him. That's why it's important to consider these facts, because we drown the truth with a lot of false truths often and this leads to skewed beliefs and unfounded hate/circlejerking. And that leads to poor discussion quality full of ad hominem, red herring, oversimplifications etc

I really don't know why you're trying to sit here and pretend that shitting on Tryndamere in lane so he can't build any fury is some simple matter that anyone can do. If it was, BoxerPete wouldn't dunk on players much better than you in challenger with Tryndamere (he isn't challenger now but he was last season and is currently Diamond 1 with a 59% win rate, 60% win rate on Tryndamere). And yes, he does tend to dunk on them in lane, not later in the game, because Tryndamere's scaling is among the most overrated in the game.

I mean, Tryndamere is hardly OP, but his laning pattern is pretty bullshit.

And Tryndamere is one of my most-played champions. There's no bias here friend.

As much as I love Boxerpete, he spends more time shitting on low diamond players than anything else. In his masters/challenger games, his lanes are often decided by junglers as much lanes are at that elo. He rarely cheeses players early in those elos.

Dealing with him early as most bruisers/tanks usually is that straight forward. As I stated, it's his later levels that make him bullshit.

I'm not disagreeing with that, im merely saying that getting cheesed by him early is often the fault of his opponent, not something tryndamere innately does.

I recall him killing both AdrianRiven and Dekar in the early levels solo, both challenger players (at least I think Dekar is?). Though I don't watch any stream regularly so I'll admit I might be wrong about that.

I don't know friend, Tryndamere can often win trades even with partial fury simply because the fury he built in the trade lets him sustain. Even if he can't all-in cheese, he can wittle laning opponents down for a kill or a forced back.

Though admittedly some of my opinion could be colored by the fact that Tryndamere almost always takes ignite, whereas his laning opponent tends to run TP. This could give him a big advantage independent of Tryndamere himself.

I'm not disagreeing with that, im merely saying that getting cheesed by him early is often the fault of his opponent, not something tryndamere innately does.

I suppose that's true, cheese by definition is the fault of the opponent, though capitalizing on mistakes is the name of this game. Even the best players make mistakes, as seen when Faker playing Malzahar somehow let Yassuo solo kill him in lane four times.

Never thought there was homie

But some might. All too often people try to shut down posts with accusations of bias, though more typically with accusations that you play a champion you're defending.

Yeah, two players who rely on cheesing themselves fairly consistently. Like I said, he tends to not cheese to victory in high elo but in lower elo he does. I watch his stream pretty regularly. Dudes hilarious.

Yeah, I think his laning pattern of outlasting is pretty bullshit in combination with his all-in potential on his grounds but his early cheese is not what is problem is as a champion. It's hardly even in the discussion imo.

Ignite does definitely lend its user a big advantage in lane but obviously teleport is the safer spell as it gives access to global pressure and safer general laning.

I try to make myself pretty clear with detailed oriented posts but I'm also open to explaining my reasoning to avoid this exact phenomenon.
