I feel like the older supports are really starting to show their age

Hell even some of the newer ones, but really when I look at the supports released pre-braum, I begin to struggle to see how I'm expected to outplay them.

In fact it feels to me like the exact reverse of what the assassins were reworked for; my only options are to stay away or pray I can out-stat shields. Oh except for the fact that there is so much targeted shielding/cc.

Alistar, Lulu, Karma, Janna, Sona, Soraka - what do I do against them? Alistar and Sona are really the only ones that can be "outplayed", simply because you can dodge their stuff, and even then, outplaying Alistar is really more a case of playing chicken to see who uses their ability(ies) first.

Is this something that is on the radar, Riot?

Or is this all anecdotal, tilt-talk?
