@Riot What plans do you have to stop scripting in game?

While not as obvious a problem as bots, scripting is still a major problem, giving a unfair advantage to people who cheat.

Once the server move is complete and you engineers can be reassigned, do you plan on tackling the issue?

A suggestion, have the game flag someone performing abnormally well, then in spectator mode, have an engineer drop a dummy ability at them. The dummy ability does nothing and has no visuals, but looks to the game and script like something to react to that only a script or bot would respond to.

While this is not perfect, it is at least one tool for a hopefully growing toolbox.

They already have had massive ban waves of accounts but it's a free to play game. Even then people would still cheat, look at CS go, if they could actually lose something. It will never be completely fixed and people will abuse a system that can't be completely fixed until another ban wave and then it starts again.

The problem is, I doubt that Macros which don't interact with the actual software, probably arn't against their terms of use. (though they may be banned in tournaments.) Actual AFK bots, maybe, but Riot may not be even able to detect scripters from their end.
