Biased opinion:
I want to see Zed gutted. I want to see him share the same pick and win ratio that some of my favorite champions have to endure because they are not Riot's personal favorite posterboy and don't have his LC$BigPlay$ potential.
Realistic opinion:
Zed needs to lose early safety and farming, that's it. I don't mind getting 100-0 under turret if he earned it. Right now, he doesn't.
Hit his early CS and poke, and hit it HARD.
I'm talking stuff like one or more of these:
- Passive no longer working on minions and monsters.
- Q pass through damage reduced even further (to 30% or 50%).
- Q casts from shadow deals modified damage (60%/70%/80%/90%/100% based on W rank). This is on top of the original 50% reduction for multiple Q hits.
- Lose the W passive damage.
- Give W a bigger cooldown, but refunds some CD if a mimicked ability hits an enemy champion.
- Increased Q cost but refunds some Energy if hits an enemy champion (+33% energy cost over current cost, refunds part of the cost on hit).
- Remove his current passive entirely, and use his current W passive as his actual passive.
- W no longer refunds energy.
Other less conservative approaches:
- His shadows have HP in similar fashion to
's tentacles and can be destroyed.
- Zed taking champion damage reduces the duration of all existing shadows by a fraction of a second.
- Zed taking champion champion damage prevents him from dashing to his shadow, in similar fashion to
Ambush.
- Activating Death Mark a second time before the mark pops reduces the pop damage.
