Can we stop begging for Swain buffs, please?

He is not weak by any means, people just haven't learned how to play him well yet. I've got over 100 games on him now across my accounts, and I have an average 60% winrate, which is not what a "weak" champ would have.

Remember how everyone said Ornn was weak? One little buff, and everyone called him broken. People said Taliyah was weak, and now she's basically picked every game in competitive play.

Just... shut up, please. Swain is not weak, Zoe was not broken, Ornn was not weak... people just hadn't figured out how to play them / play against them, or were too lazy to put in any effort.

I don't want to see yet another champ I enjoy be overbuffed and then gutted (or in Zoe's case just destroyed for no reason) because of whiners who want a free win.

I agree. People made the exact same complaints for Ornn, and now they can't patch him enough because of it.

They called him weak in the first weeks, yet I was kicking ass with him before his first buff. I really don't want to see them make the same mistakes with Swain.

Release Ornn I had a near 70% winrate with damn near a hundred games. I thought he was broken on release. When I saw Riot buffing his W that much, I had to wonder what the hell they were smoking... but then I looked at Reddit and the forums, and no one wanted to bother trying to learn how to use him, and just called him bad. Then other people who didn't even own him called him weak because other people did.

Same thing that just happened with Zoe. She was fine if you knew how her kit works and how to play against her, and I tried writing up massive guides with all kinds of diagrams and explanations... but no one listened, because hating on her was the popular thing to do, even if she didn't deserve it. Now, she may as well not exist. She's not playable in lane, and she's a bad support, so I can say goodbye to one of my favorite champs. : /

Funny thing is, it doesn't matter that I was winning with Ornn, and it doesn't matter that I never once lost a lane to a Zoe or really ever died to one solo... because I'm not an LC$ player, so I must be wrong. And, in a F2P company, you've got to appease the majority, even if you sacrifice quality to do so.

So I'm fully expecting them to massively overbuff Swain, and then people will realize he was never weak, and then they'll gut his kit and make him clunky or just bad.

Or maybe a champ that is instantly played in LCS after released is just straight up broken tier.

List of some champions I have first hand seen called bad in first few days after a release or rework .Camille Yasuo Bard Nami ThreshIvern TahmKench Rakan Jayce AurelionSol Taliyah Evelynn Illaoi Jhin Swain Ornn . The condition for making this list, 1 I read a post on boards, calling them bad 2 some one in lobby or game flamed/alerted me that I am picking "garbage tier"

A lot of them never even made it to the first patch before folks stopped. Several however got buffed, and ended up being a problem / fotm

This is my first hand experience so they only fact is that this is what I observed. Others may have had different experiences and thus hold a different view. By all means back me up or shout out a different perspective.
