Do you know exactly what the bug was? Because I played her the night before they released the patch on the PBE and she played perfectly fine with 0 game breaking bugs.

The only rumor (and again this is a rumor I don't even have a PBE account) is that her E wouldn't proc on inhibs and gave her an attack speed boost until the inhib was destroyed or she hit a new target.

Huh, If that's true that's very strange because that bug was fixed during the PBE fairly early on. I also wouldn't really call that bug game breaking most people thought it was just part of her kit for the first couple of days but I guess to prevent it from happening in ranked.

Except the thing is, some bugs found on Live, were never on PBE, due to the spaghetti code on Live, compared to the Spaghetti code on PBE, which is slightly different. Call Riot the Old Spaghetti Factory, cause its everywhere.

Most code is sectioned out so that one thing doesn't affect another. League however, has spaghetti code which is kinda like having a bowl of spaghetti where all the segments of a game are together in one big pile, so that if you need to pull out just one noodle, half the bowl ends up going with it. For instance, Jarvan should be coded separately from say, minions; however, spaghetti code meant they shortcutted jarvans ult to literally BE minions. That caused a shit ton of issues so they had to change it, but thats just a really good example of spaghetti code. They really just need to take like, 3 weeks and recode the game to be NOT spaghetti. Like, keep servers up and stuff, but take down the PBE and pause all reworks for a month or so to sit down and fix the code and then relaunch the code on live after a short stay on PBE.

Example: Galio's "Righteous Gust" is coded as an object. I saw this in a normal game, then went into a custom game to test it out. Using the "Oracle's Lens" item 3364 reveals it.

If you scrap this rework, scrap all of them then.

The new kit is much better for the game in general and fits her much more.

The VU is okay-ish for the base model but the skins got fucking nuked.

Scrapping the rework for her specifically would be a step backwards. People would continue to complain about her no-counterplay ult until she got another rework. I don't know why people would ever want the Fiora rework scrapped after people fought so much for one in the first place.

Who complained though? I don't think I have ever seen a Fiora has no counter play please rework post on the boards or reddit.

I do agree she needed one though and that it shouldn't be reverted but focus on making her new kit work.

The complaints were due to her feast-or-famine nature (she gets fed, she'll become un-duelable; she doesn't, she's relegated to split-pushing the entire game), and her ult which had no counterplay in this game. DotA has answers to Omnislash, this game doesn't if you aren't Fizz, Vladimir, or a purchaser of Zhonya's, such as an ADC.

Why the hell are people downvoting him, the PBE playerbase is incredibly tiny overall, even fewer people playing Fiora enough to find any gamebreaking bugs anyway.

Of course the Live servers are very different she just got opened up to 60+ million players.

Yeah true but there were a lot of Fiora games played on the PBE. IDK what was so game breaking she got disabled but she seemed fine in the PBE.

There are very few players testing on the PBE compared to players on live servers. That is why ANY game has bugs on release; there are an extremely small number of bug-testers compared to the amount of people who will play it.

And the PBE's code is slightly different from live's code.

You don't seem to understand, Azir didn't just have bugs, he had bugs like the enemy gaining vision of his w whenever he used it, or making a turret invincible for the rest of the game. Not just bugs, but some of the weirdest bugs ever seen in the game second only to Poppy being able to smack Baron around the map.

Probably pretty long. I'd bet they're working as fast as they can on the matter, sifting through gameplay, sifting through code, looking for a tiny mistake, or a poor optimization.

I get that bugs happen, it's whatever.

But I'd really like them to talk to us about them. What is the bug exactly? Is it really big? How long does riot expect a fix to take?

I remember once riot saying they don't like to talk about bugs, but I don't get why. If the bug will be fixed, it's not like we can make use of the bug. What's the deal?

The last few times this happened with a patch and a champion was disabled it usually lasted a period of days, not hours, so I wouldn't hold my breath thinking I can play Fiora before the beginning of next week. See: Zed, Caitlyn, Viktor, etc. Very disappointing but far from unexpected.

If you think bugs are so easy to avoid and so easy to fix then go apply for a job at Riot! I hear they're an awesome company to work for! Or better yet, go make your own multi-million player base game and see how well you do!

I'm really sad that from this day forward I will never Blade Waltz again. To make it worse I can't even see if the new Fiora is still going to be my main (Fiora is almost the only reason I play this game).
