Is going 19-0-11 masteries worth the life steal?
Could get away with it since you would not need a
for early sustain. But is not having the extra 3% damage worth it?

Now, are you asking whether it can work or whether it's optimal? You'll get two very different answers here.
As with most things if you spend enough time trying it you'll figure out a way to make it work. You could split your masteries into 0-15-15 for ADC and figure out a way to make it work. Perhaps you'll even end up finding a new way to play as an ADC that gives you an edge against the far more common offense mastery builds. You can craft the fine details of your build to match the way you play, instead of the other way around.
However it's not optimal. If your goal is the goal of the pros, which is to have an optimized and relatively low risk build and play style you will probably fail. Optimizing is all about getting as low of a risk for your reward as possible, even if that means also lowering the reward. You want consistency, not feast or famine.
Keep in mind you're not playing against professionals here, so you don't have to go for a fully optimized build. Just be ready for your slightly off builds to stop working or need heavy adjusting if you ever reach the high ranks.
For what? ADC? Seems pretty silly to go that deep into utility just for 3% life steal.
As ADC, I run ls quints and go into lane with
and 3
i do that sometimes as Jinx. Other time i use armor pen quint
The problem isn't the 3% damage, it's having no Defensive masteries. Having those masteries would probably be far more valuable than a tiny bit of lifesteal.
Lol no, it's a garbage mastery.
3% damage is a miniscule number however so is 3% lifesteal.
It would depend on the champion.

If you went for 3% life steal, you'd really Want a Doran's on top of it.
With 1% life steal, you survive about 1% longer vs. an opponent matching your damage. With 100% life steal though - matching an opponent's damage means you're invulnerable and will immediately sustain back anything they dish out.
Life steal more or less grows exponentially on itself, so the more you have - the more powerful each additional % becomes. 3% by itself is almost completely useless (healing potions are considerably more cost-efficient there), but 3% on top of the 20% from The Bloodthirster is a different story.
As for actually running with that mastery: You'd really want life steal/spell vamp to play a major part in your play style. You'd want the utility masteries you grabbed on the way up the tree to be at least as useful to your play style as the alternatives.
the answer is simple. no.
I say it isn't worth it. If you really want the LS, you might as well just replace your quints with LS instead of AD. Also, LS only really makes a difference early on if you have a lot of it, say 2
or a
, so that 3% isn't going to make much of a difference. This also would cripple your late game as you wouldn't be dealing the extra bonus 3% damage and whatever other point you dropped from your offensive tree and this is when it shines, later in the game.
