Probably a bad idea, but only assassins can buy assassin items, tanks can only buy tank items, mages can only buy mage items etc. like how there's an item that is only available to ranged champions. Champions with a subclass like leblanc can purchase both assassin and mage items.

Astôlfo1 votesThat's not the way to go about it. The only time something like this should apply is limiting things like Cleaver/Ghostblade/Duskblade/etc to melee only.
