Veigar treated unfairly

Veigar is the only champion who is suppose to scale hard late game that has an actual punishing early game.

Nasus once he gets a bit of armor or mr (depending on matchup) can ignore you while he stacks due to lifesteal Vayne has her support and mobility as well as a self-peel knockback (with a situational stun) to help her out Yasuo while still pretty easy has his shield/wall as well as lack of resources and low CD's that allow him to survive Tristana has her support and stupid mobility same as vayne but also has a nice waveclear passive and a range increase as the levels go up

Then there's Veigar: Mana issues early on. Insanely squishy. No mobility. A, now, easy to dodge stun. Lack of any form of innate tankiness (shields/armor or mr enhancers etc.) Nothing is point and click for him so his farming potential is lower than someone like say annie or malz etc.

Any other late game carry can get off easy early on with their kits. Veigar on the other hand has to struggle like it's meant to be for late game champs. Explain to me how that's fair at all?

Because he just has to press EWQ from high range and remove most (if not all) of any enemies health? Because he has much higher range than any of those listed, and has infinite scaling that applies to all of his damage? Because if he didn't have mana issues his laning would be "never get hit by E and try to dodge all the Q's. If he lands E, go look at the shop for what you will be buying in a half second"?

Most of this you just said is late game you're talking about besides the mana problem. Which I suppose you hate zed then because the laning is all about dodging his Q yet he has energy

what people like you dont get, is that his stun was a tiny little sliver (50 units across), and those veigars who placed it on you predicted where you would go (with lag), were veigar masters who practiced tons on veigar to BE ABLE to do that, or were extremely lucky. otherwise he was very targetable and free.

only a truly skilled veigar would insta gib you, in most cases he would stay back and just farm giving you plenty of time to roam and do something else. or hes actively farming, has next to zero mana just maximizing his bonus ap for the late game , (and you're not taking advantage of this?!?!?!)

and 99% of the veigars out there would just trade carry for carry, and hope stun hit someone else as well giving your team an edge because of the aoe stun or team separation/initiation factor. "not because of his tons of damages"

but other mid laners can truly run rampant, snowball and get pentas, veigars usually only get doubles at best.

I completly agree with you CrestKnight ;D

Many people still belive that Veigar is by far the easiest champion and can nuke everything down with a single press on any ability, that his W and E will always hit and that MR and health items arent even existing in the game...

Just wanted to say that ^_^ you got my upvote

So you were bad at reading Veigar's tells. I didn't encounter many people like you when I played Veigar pre gutting, but your kind seems to be oozing up from the floorboards now badmouthing a champion that could be taken out of the game if you grabbed merc and a banshees late game. You probably think Blitz's hook is imbalanced as well since it requires you to actively think about you positioning to avoid being gimped.

KogMaw

Weak early game. No infinite scaling. Only a slow for an escape. Pretty much needs an entire team built around protecting him to function is most situations. Not every late game carry gets off easy early, or even midgame (unless he has a pretty damn awesome lane).

I've seen kog'maw played adc only a few times and used him a few times as ad myself and have never seen one struggle early game so I didn't bother with him.

Kog'maw's safety net is that he's an artillery, sure he's immobile and squishy, but with correct positioning he can stay out of harm's way much easier than Veigar. As for him not scaling infinitely, he deals % max health damage on auto attacks, so that keeps him relevant despite how he's doing in game, where a Veigar denied a passive lane would have next to nothing to show for his potentially infinite AP pool.
