Very high presence, but damn that winrate is abysmal.

Also obligatory "nice" for 69% presence.

Very safe, nice scaling, suck least out of mid roaster, after Ire/Akali/Sylas nerfs, this boring Azir/Corki with occasional Veig against them mid meta is a thing. I also think that proplayer don't want to take risks, bcs imo there are still few playable more aggresive picks. Prepare for boring worlds, idk if Syndra buffs are enough to push her in :/, maybe some coaches will comeup with new broken strats...

It isn't just proplay, high elo is also full of Azirs.

Dunnu much about proplay, since I'm not analyst, but for soloQ Cass/Ryze as superscaling mids can be beasts. Same for Corki and little harder Azir. Imo Cass is currently S+ for soloQ, but I'm just hardstuck in dia so idk, but her scaling is terrifying.

Because everyone else was nerfed so Corki rose up in priority, so pros pick Azir as an answer

Or maybe it was the other way around, Corki being an answer to Azir

they literally removed azir from the game, and everything has been nerfed so hard around him from then to now that he's now playable again. buff the roster, this is such a stupid cycle.

yeah cause they removed mechanics that were better served as the new standard of balance. nothing changes now really unless something interesting happens in preseason.

think I agree with LS and other people here, pretty much everything in mid lane got nerfed so you just play safe champs that dont suck like Azir and Sylas/Corki

Azir is one of the champions that's always on the verge of being super broken i pro play so it's not surprising when he just pops up for seemingly no reason at all.

I mean they keep cutting his numbers and mechanics, but has he lost his ranged pushing power, his mobility, or his long-ranged air engage that also doubles as hard-disengage? Like, I know all those things have been repeatedly nerfed, but has he actually lost any of them?
