when your main becomes "meta"

eventually pretty much every champ reaches a stage (for at least one patch) where the champ becomes contested

whether it be people imitating champs they see at worlds aka

a champ that is just absurdly op for a patch or a few patches aka

or in the case of my main getting a 100% pick/ban rate at worlds now in most of the "op" cases it means the champ is pretty much permabanned and u really cant play it if it is contested at worlds you see it banned more often but it still goes through a lot but in the case of (my main). i have not noticed ANY increase in ban rate in my elo due to worlds.

but what i found interesting is her PICK rate in my elo has shot up tremendously. I'm not used to being in a game where the is a nidalee and it isn't ME.

but what i find funny, is that almost everyone i meet playing her, are the new people..are trying her because they think she is "OP" and i think the best part of any game i see her picked in is: i get the see the reaction of the people who think she is "easy".

it is always really funny.

every so often i do have to put up with some people who think the fact that i did good on her when I play her is "just me playing an OP champ"

but still every time i see a nidalee, i know chat is going to be entertaining. XD
