What if Towers gained Resists base don how many champions were near/around it?

would that fix out tower woes without ruining the point of the changes Riot made?

+20 armor/MR per nearby allied champ would be nice. Stops the enemy team from just smashing the tower down in front of you.

Why allied instead of enemy champ? From my experience the enemy team kills one or both bot laners and then procceds to push.

Because it would ruin sieging as a strategy?

Imagine playing a game where you tell your teammates to back off because they, as supports and/or tanks, slow down your progress in taking down the tower.

His idea is not that great either, but it at least makes the bot lane tower a bit more resistant to chip damage from minions, as you have 2 players, and that tower is extremely squishy...

that is whatshould happen everyone should be in their respective lane until 15 or 20 min in the game and splitpushing would become a better strategy

until 15 or 20 min in the game, towers should get bonus armor/mr per enemy champion around

If it works until 15-20 mins, it would be a healthy addition. I just wish we had stronger Turrets the whole game, but every addition to their resistance is great.

My idea was more of reducing how fast sieging happens. 3 players attacking one turret would deal more damage than just one attacking it,but less if everyone of them attacked a different turret.

For example,if every champion could deal 300 damage to one turret over 10seconds ,but the damage would over all get reduced by 15% for each additional enemy champion close to it. If you have 3 champions bot they do 720 damage to it,instead of 900 over 10 seconds. It's still far more than one could do,but less with that effect.

Because that would discourage teamplay and force people to splitpush.

I miss tower lasers and shields...

that's the fortification they get early game actually, it stops people from just ARAM'ing at the start just know 7-9 mins into the game they get melted tho, cause dmg

the fortification goes off after 5 minutes in the game and it's only top/mid

Increase the strength of Fortification and make it last 7 minutes instead of 5 and bring back fortification to bot lane.

My idea -

Fortification Strength 50% => 70% Fortification Duration 5 minutes => 7 minutes Fortification is now back on Bottom Lane Tier 1 turrets.

I'm sick to death of being poked out of lane or killed ONCE and losing my tower at the 5th - 6th minute from 100% hp to something like Jinx Tristana Xayah

Perhaps the other way around? I feel as though the direction of that change would put much more emphasis on split-pushing, which is commonly looked down upon by much of the community in cases of champions like Tryndamere and Singed, whereas teams grouping can make for some exciting teamfights and battles over objectives. Plus it would discourage teammates from actually helping when contesting or pushing lanes.

While it would help splitpushers to a degree (which i don't think is a bad thing), it would help other playstyles and help flesh them out as well.

Seiging would actually feel more deliberate and thought out, as poking enemies to force them to go back would make it easier to take the tower out, and simply prodding repeatedly on minion wave cycles would feel less effective. It would also encourage people to actually try to save towers and objectives since their mere presence strengthens towers, making mindless splitpushes not that effective.

Towers would cease to be wet noodles without making them straight up more durable as well since the tower is as durable as there are people present to defend it.

i don't mind botlane having a weaker tower. But something like this should still be implemented.

I think that if this was worked out more and fortified throughout the whole game then this might be a good thing for Riot to play with imo
