I would be completely fine with Akali if she didn't reenter stealth so quickly

I think it's .65 seconds after she attacks that she can go back into stealth?

You get such a short window to hit her again that I end up canceling so many of my attacks because unless I'm already in melee with her I won't have time to hit her with anything before she's invis again. As someone who's playing a lot of champs with targeted damage (Volibear, Urgot, Illaoi, etc) it gets really annoying really quick to just be denied any form of playing against her unless I'm point blank AND perfect on reaction time.

This is the only thing that gets me with Akali rn, is that unless I'm just a massive AOE hog I barely have time to respond to her doing her thing

Idk how many times it needs to be explained: If her W's useless for combat, then it's going to be outright garbage. Most stealth is used for repositioning and flanking. Akali's shroud is already bad for both of those things as is. If it's ALSO easy to beat her up while she's fighting in it, what's the point of it? We'll just be back in her old shroud's territory, where it was so bad it had a tacked on blink and a slow.

Akali has MS every time she applies her passive and a 2-part mobility spell to reposition and kite back into stealth. Not being able to face-roll you without facing a repercussion for sloppy positioning inside her zone doesn't make her useless.

Even .10 seconds longer would make the spell more bearable.

None of those things are good enough on defense for that to actually matter for the point at hand.

If the boards DON'T want to be popped like a cherry by assassins, then that assassin needs a means to stay in fights longer without being popped themselves. If you're an advocate for Talon/LB style game play, then yeah, make her super easy to exploit in her own defensive tool.

She'd be in a much more healthy state then than now. Her W has so many situational uses, and is crazy easy to use. Either make it where pinks see through it, or make it where once she jumps out/attacks, the W is gone.

And Akali does pop people like that, and more targets than LB and talon can (considering Talon is far worse than Akali at kill pressure), I'd rather their gameplay than Akali's. The better comparison would be zed who is much safer and who's combo's are nearly impossible to miss after his R. At least with LB and talon you can itemize for to prevent the one shot and still be able to trade back, whereas with akali, if you survive the initial burst, you're gonna die to her endless Q spam.

What is stopping you from just building MR and stopping her from hitting you?
