Caitlyn is not getting buffed for the sake of diversity

Meddler said in his last post that Caitlyn won't get buffed because she decides who can and who can't lane against her way more than any other champion in this meta where we have a lot of different champions played buffing her would be a mistake and she needs other changes

imo this is the proof that now it's the end of the marksmen meta because even riot is changing the game while keeping in mind that not only marksmen are played bot

and i want to thanks them for that

Tristana Caitlyn Kalista Whenever these adcs are a bit viable, they become pick & ban in sq and super op in proplay. I generally dislike playing against Cait myself because I find it bs for her to have that E of hers but at the same time have a good range.

sniper also has a 40% ministun on his autos.. you also have items like shadow blade in the game https://dota2.gamepedia.com/Shadow_Blade also he isn't even meta really whereas gyrocopter has been for the past 20 years or so when he was first introduced in dota allstars.

who can't lane against her? ofc there are certain champs that work a lot better vs cait like ez and jhin.. but that doesn't mean the rest of the lineup is necessarily bad does it? idk

ezreal can't lane against her unless he uses Q constantly to farm from range lucian is suicide and every 550 is at disaventage the only good lane against cait are jinx and ashe

huh? ez should still be able to harass her as well as long as he can land them. i do see a problem if he consistently misses qs but that depends on his and her skill. Also i think it really depends on the support picks as well. why can't jhin lane against her?
