Thoughts on New Rammus

I don't think I like it personally, the slow on his W is so immensely crippling, but it's probably too soon to make judgement and I probably just need to learn his new playstyle.

Personally the slow is disgusting and there is no way to adapt to it . It just straight gut Rammus.

I agree, the slow on the W is beyond crippling. Even with a Q or E max the W is a waste of an ability. I honestly cant think of a scenario in which using your W is worth it beyond the short duration that your target is taunted. The second taunt comes down if you leave your W up you cant catch anyone and you cant use it to retreat at low health because you're so slow when using it. Lol at this point the only use W serves is for the extra stats to tank a baron/dragon or turret. They might as well just remove the W ability for rammus....sad

Glad to see I'm not the only person that thinks this. I also don't think that the slow buff on his ult is enough to pay for that slow on his W either. I'd much rather they take away the slow from his ult, and take away the slow from his W.

Same. The slow on the ult barely cover for the 60% slow on his W and it take a good 8 tick to reach max slow. It give you enought of time to run away.

Damn... is it just me or is it every time riot changes a champion everyone starts running to the boards and complains... Well honestly I believe Rammus is fine, which is just my opinion but... his Q now gets a far larger move speed bonus and has counterplay besides run away the instant you see him on a ward a million miles away. His W now has trade offs... you now trade more dmg and more tankiness for a slow and E helps with your clear now to compensate.

Read the patch notes and imediately asked myself why they didn't just remove the character all together, I mean like what did the poor guy ever do to Riot to deserve a wheelchair like that. What worries me more is that somewhere, somehow, someone thought it was a good idea............
