Real talk? Mordekaiser's W (@Riot)

Okay Riot, can you please clarify why exactly you don't want Mordekaiser to use his W when alone? Seriously? It's not like it's that strong of an ability anyways, especially if the two clouds don't even overlap, and we still didn't get any clarification on why exactly he can't use it either in Solo lanes or bot when his support has to leave. Let's be honest here, your support has to back eventually or get some deep wards down, making you one ability short. Since you've nerfed his Siphon his waveclear suffered, especially if he can't use the AoE from his new Harvester of Sorrow. Oftentimes I find myself in the situation of using one Siphon on a wave only for them to survive with a sliver of health.

So, where's the harm giving him access to it? It's damage is mediocre when not around an ally, he won't get the movement speed buff and the heal could even be tweaked accordingly. Heck, you may even consider giving it a health cost when used on himself to make it less problematic. Without being able to cast it on minions he can't even use it as poke or an out of jail free card in difficult matchups (Practically anything with range)-

But really, where's the harm in giving him access to it? I think this hasn't been clarified enough so if there's a valid reasoning behind it let us know so we don't feel like you put the restriction there simply to make his solo experience less attractive. (You said yourself you wanted SoloKaiser to feel as fun/strong as he was before while still making him less of a lane bully)
