Add a vote to kick option during champ select to help eliminate instalockers and help prevent trolling.
When you're in Promos (divisional or moving up leagues), you should be matched with those who are also in their promos so that we can avoid the negative nancy's that give up after giving first blood. All 5 players on your team will be willing to fight to the death, rather than flame early, then surrender.

AyRe CoNteMpT1 votesnope, its RANKED, you are supposed to be able to play more than one position. its VERY likely that you will get a position you can play when you can play at least 3 of them, and if you cant, pls play vs bots.

IcyPepper1 votesProblem is, some roles are just more popular, especially with lower elos believing that supports (and possibly junglers or whoever) "can't carry." 70% of the time, I've seen first pick take mid. Mid.
I mean, I'm certainly not against it, but I'm just worried about possible consequences. At the very least, people should at least know two or three roles to prepare properly for ranked (and playing every role at least once allows you to know the strengths and weaknesses of your teammates beyond generalizations, making for better teamwork). My rule of thumb is to at least know how to jungle (so you understand how jungle paths, buffs, and proper ganks are made, whether you're the laner or jungler) and how to bot lane (let's be honest, last pick often supports or adc's). You don't have to be pro, just have a basic knowledge of it.

You would only have to find 4 other players in their promos, and they would be on your same team. The other could just be players of a slightly higher MMR.

U Just Got Slain1 votesI really like the second suggestion! But you'd have to take into consideration the long que times for people in their promos! Some higher ranks like Diamond ll have only 6 people tops in the actual tier. In order to find 9 other Diamond ll+ people would be extremely long. I definitely like the idea though!
