Are turrets just there for decoration?

Can somebody go watch the replay for this match http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2514629415/234395740?tab=overview and tell me how it's possible for a 0/0/0 Nasus to 100 - 0 a 0/0/0 Wukong under his turret at level 6? He literally engaged me under my turret, while in my ult, with me using decoy to create space, flashing away, took 8 turret blast, killed me and then flashed out.

Level 6! [zombie-brand-mindblown]

I rather not have a fucking turret at all if it's just going to tickle the person who's slapping my face off!

He had Armor from the Cloth Armor he bought after your first death, Flat Armor in his Runes, and his R gives him more Armor and HP. And he started Doran's Shield, so that's 80 more HP. Tanking 8 tower shots seems reasonable to me under this circumstances.

Meanwhile, you had scaling Armor in your Runes which were barely reaching the break-even point, a Corrupting Potion that cannot give you as much HP as Doran's over the course of a single fight (assuming you still had charges and actually thought about using them), and you bought AD on your first back. And somehow, I doubt you were actually at 100% HP, but I cannot check for myself. I'm also surprised the Nasus wasn't a level ahead of you, since he had killed you once already.

Keep in mind, if you stand in Nasus AoE, with the Armor Shred and his Lethality Runes, he was practically dealing True damage to you, and given he has 120+ farm in a 16 minutes game, I'm pretty sure he already had a lot of stacks on his Q at level 6.

Overall, I see nothing particularly strange here.

No, you shouldn't tank 8 shots at lvl 6, even with that setup.No one should.

So you were both level 6? Did he have a wave? Did you have a wave? You had no armor. Did he have armor?

Either way it sucks. Turrets suck I agree. I want to watch it but can't.

We can't see replays of other people's matches, but I can guarantee that what you described is not what happened, and I don't just mean that he had an assist and you a death.

Here is a tip, don't go lethality against an armor stacker, especially if you are behind. You should either build cleaver or some hp to survive.

Can't go cleaver against Nasus without sustain anyway. I'll be dead before I apply the stacks.

He had a good amount of armor and health from items and free resists using ult. If he went with a sheen item like triforce, or IBG he would hit harder. I mean especially with lethality marks(which are great on Nasus btw) hes going to blow you up. In my opinion you should have went black cleaver first, then ninja tabi for armor and % damage reduction.

i remember playing gp against garen, he took 20 towershots and killed me even though i flash exhausted and he didnt even ult or flash

Turrets are still very meaningfull, just in a different way. They are like giant pinatas that need your protection.

Also, ever since the ult changes, nasus has an absurd lvl 6 spike and he can all in most champs with ease at 6.

Radiant Wukong, could you download the replay from client and post it to youtube? I'm fascinated how a level 6 Nasus could bring down a Wukong from full health, all the while taking 8 turret shots. I can't access your replays sadly, only you can. It would be very nice if you respond with a link.
