Whats with nearly unkillable champions out damaging everyone

The scaling and item design for some champions right now is ridiculous. They design champions that can build pure utility and tanky based items and because riot says so, their abilities and damage scales much faster than anyone else. As an ADC main I buy items completely dedicated to doing damage. and yet, a champion like Rammus or Malphite can build one ap item, thornmail, and pure tank and do more damage.

In any game where there is a champion that is both extremely difficult to kill and yet can outdamage you, you have a broken system.

No excuses I don't give a fk what name you give it to justify that kind of bull shit riot. I don't care if you create a category called juggernaut, fighter, tank, whatever it may be. Plus not only do tank role oriented champioins but melee champions in general can be abuse these scaling and item issues. Ever faced a tank akali or tank Yi? They have extreme high damage output and damage resistance making them hyper carries.

Note, hyper carries or any champions that can carry an entire team just based off the champion and its over powered scaling is again broken. No champion other than the tank should require more than 2 or 3 people to kill. But unless you have a specific team comp to counter a single champion you put yourself at a huge disadvantage, that to me is again, broken.

League you're making your game worse and worse by the moment. Honestly you say that you want league to be the new football for video gamers, to have families watching it or having it be a huge deal and sorry to burst your bubble but that will NEVER work. Sorry, you might get close but I can't imagine a world where so many people dedicate their time to a video game or sport. Its non-sense, there are extremely important things to do in life. A video game should be a brief escape from the world to relieve stress, it shouldn't be something on your mind 24/7, it should not be something you come home and watch for a few hours or play everyday, it shouldn't be something you create a fantasy league over. It just shouldn't be more than a source of stress relief which is doesn't do at all. This goes for sports and games.

A good game is focused on telling a story, when you try and turn it to a sport it loses is appeal. I honestly hope Riot starts to lose money and players, I hope another game more player based comes along, because maybe then Riot will remember what put them into business in the first place, us the gamer. We control your fate riot, and the more you try and manipulate your gamer base based on what you want the game to be, while slapping away anything the community is begging for then you as a gaming company have failed. Your game is a supposed to be a work of art that appeals to both you and the players, but right now you're just profitting on the addictions of others. Telling them its ok to dedicated 3 or 4 others of their life everyday to something as ridiculous as LOL.

You paint league like its some blessing given to the world, well honestly the most its done is give millions of people high blood pressure. Its not fun when you design a system purely based off of which champion is overly strong this month. You design champions that can destroy anything around them easily and I don't care what the troll will say or the 5% of gamers who'll say it, getting your faced smashed in repeatedly by someone with an unfair advantage is ridiculous and broken.

Making the job of one person 100% harder than another with little reward is ridiculous. A tank can smash through the lines, plow through and entire team, kill some people, and then leave like nothing happened. While others have to hide behind others or get instantly punished.

So yeah, league you're going in the wrong direction and i'll be looking for something to replace you with as I hope all league players do. Your direction is purely based on money now. Most businesses are there to make money but when a business forgets who pays them they start to die. Like WOW you'll come and go in a few years. No one will be playing this game 5 years from now. Something similar but more player based will come

So an ADC who has built only offense does less damage to someone who has a mix of defense and offense than that same mixed champion does to the zero defense ADC?

Sounds correct to me.

Except your statement is false. The ''someone who has a mix of defence and offense'' doesnt build offense at all.

That's a quote from the OP, who I was talking to. Note the "one ap item"?

Might want to read everything before making a post like that.

The only offensive thing rammas buys is thornmail and thats not more offensive than it is defensive.

Malphite gets abyssal and goes straight tank. Abyssal isnt the most aggressive item for ap champs..

By mix you mean 2-3 items offensive. By what OP means he means half a item that gives defensive stats rest full tank....

As an adc main i can confirm its bullshit

The OP is talking about a Rammus with an AP item. I don't really care what you think Rammus should build, I tailored my reply to what the OP was talking about.

And yes, by mix I mean 2-3 items. Rammus with a single AP item and a thornmail counts as 2 items. Check mate.

Rammas doesnt build an ap item.

That's a nice check mate you have there, it would be a shame if it invalidated the point you're trying to make.

The OP is talking about it, so it really doesn't matter whether you think Rammus should build it or not. I'm going to respond to the OP based on what the OP has said.

IT's called riot being godo at balance. It is very, very fair that champions like Ekko can oneshot me with jsut a void staff. This is balanced. For a Rengar main to be able to do his job is OP, as the bronzodias have stated, and must be nerfed.

Tanks, mages, and ADC scale well into late game. Assassins and bruisers fall off. I bet you don't build defensive items on your mages or ADC when you play them. If you go full glass cannon it mean you do a bunch of dammage at the price of being unable to function alone. Tanks tend to have it easier when itemizing so people who play tanks tend to make less itemization errors and what you build make a huge difference

I played a game against a team of full tanks when we had all damage dealers and one tank and they all out damaged us, its fucking gross and needs to change

the logic is that "if a champ is unkillable, but does no damage, then they are completely worthless because you can ignore them!" I personally don't agree with it, because champs like Leona/Nautilus with their ridiculous CC, that cc alone should be worth giving up damage for because with proper teamwork, your carries will follow up with damage that you can't respond to.

A True tank needs the damage to wave clear in the top lane. Otherwise, Bruisers (like Ekko) are going to constantly push you in, and make you lose Minions cause you can't farm. Similarly, you need Clear speed as a Jungle tank, otherwise, your opponent will out pace you.

While I agree in principle, Unless your the support, you need some level of Base damage. Though it doesn't need to be massive.

If you truly think that Rammus and Malphite are sooo OP:

do "bot lane carry" Rammus or Malphite then.

Since they are so OP, and you are very familiar with bot lane, it should be no problem.

It's not about raw damage over time, but where and how you land the damage.

Some tanks will do a lot of damage overall because they are AEing the entire enemy team at once, and always in the front line.

Their end game numbers might seem super high, but that doesn't mean they are somehow comparable to an ADC or AP assassin. Damage only matters if you can land it where and when it counts for something.
