There is literally 0 reason to play Karma in this meta
if we're gonna buff irrelevant champs liek viktor, why cant karma get a buff too?

No more buffs, it's time for a rework.
Because she doesn't need one. I played the shit out of Karma to mastery 6 not to long ago with no complaints about her strength. Viktor needed the buff, which is why people think that he's irrelevant.
Here's list of reasons why she doesn't need a buff:
- Free ult at level 1
- Empowered Q does a lot of damage + AOE
- Decent healing with empowered W (especially if you end up rooting them)
- TEAM WIDE SHIELDS and move speed increase
- Self-shield
And if you think that there's no reason to play her, then she's obviously not your type of champ. She fun as hell as support and mid. A champion doesn't need to be "meta" to play them.
