Hey guys,
I just wanted to see if there are any unusual players that play Nami mid. I know its break the meta but I've seen even weirder champs play mid, but I just wanted to see if people out there do it and what match ups are good to take her against. :)

Jiberamu1 votesits good if you are good aka can land bubbles and can position well. i dont recommend for low elo players unless you are trying to mess around and dont care if you lose alot of games

xXGoneXx1 votesYea ive seen a nami mid but not alot of them. They usually tend to stay back and not be too aggressive until someone wins a lane and is able to roam alot more. Build some poke and sustain damage if your going mid so she can survive. If your good at her bubble skill shot, then all the power to ya.
DontBanMeImDrunk1 votesI tried it when she was first released. I don't think they changed anything aside from the slow scaling since then (not sure). I found her AP ratios kind of sucked, and she didnt have a ton of damage. Could be better now tho.
Strawberrycocoa1 votesThe thing to be wary of with Nami Mid is that her AP scalings are pretty low for her damage skills. Nami's kit is Utility-centric through and through. If you take her mid you will find that standard AP Mid builds don't give much benefit on her. I've built full-AP Nami, and there just isn't a hell of a lot of punch in those bubbles.
If you take Nami mid, I recommend building for poke and sustained damage. 
for cooldown, penetration, and some durability to help you stay in the fight longer to keep bubblin' and burnin'.
Avoid big AP items like 
; her AP scalings will make them mostly wasted. Get 
only if you need the invulnerability; is more armor and CDR + Mana for poking and whittling people down.

The only strength I really see is that she should be good at setting up ganks for her jungler.
1000angrybees1 votesNami is surprisingly good at killing, but dont think that you're going to beat any assassins. She's very fun to play mid with, but unless you're very good at her, you're gonna be in for a rough time with ganks. Nami is pretty close to sona in terms of playing mid. Surprising burst, but awful at retreating, even with their speed boosts and cc.
Also just because a champ doesnt have high ratios doesnt mean shit. It's mostly about you personally and how you play. (Also, Leblanc and zed will shit on you, but hey, that's what happens when you pick a fun champ versus cheap players who like poorly designed champs.)
