My problem with Xin Zhao and all "duelists"

My problem with XinZhao is that he is NOT a strong duelist. I understand that he needs certain strengths to win trades. My SOLE problem with him and champions like him are simple. I can't GET AWAY from him. His charge has a low cooldown anyway and now there are lot of good AD options that have built-in cooldown reduction. Since I play a lot of immobile mages or even some of the more mobile ones, he is a NIGHTMARE to keep away from because of the nature of his point and click charge.

I personally think that his dash should be made into a skillshot to give you the option of dodging it and so that he cannot stick to you with little or no effort. I find this much the same problem with Jax as well in that his gap closer is point and click so you are unable to avoid it. Champions like Ahri have dashes that you actually have to aim, so does assassins like Leblanc.

I know that Riot don't like "point and click" stuns so why are "point and click" dashes alright and not toxic because of the limited conterplay available to them, apart from hard CC.

Say what you want about Fiora, she may be disgustingly OP with true damage but she DOES take skill and her dashes ARE a skillshot, along with her Riposte.

Making his dash a skillshot would make him far more mobile, even worse than lee sin because of his heals and damage. Having a point and click dash helps when he has targets but makes his pathing options in the jungle very very limited. In other words, you beat xin by warding because he lacks the mobility to avoid well placed wards.

I think he's stupid op right now but it would be way worse if he could wall hop at will.

except xin's e has a fairly large aoe to it so even if it was a skillshot it'd still be easy to land.

Targeted dashes are actually more limited in use than skillshot dashes. That would most likely be a buff in many situations.

Another instance of Riot making some champions ridiculously broken and others like a piece of rice paper.

as someone who mains jinx which is an... "immobile" adc, i know wat its like to have problems with xin and jax howeverr that is an intended weakness of hers and of all immobile mages. they have to have weaknesses somewhere ya know. in this case u avoid problems by warding well in ur laning phase and then using cc on those champions to stop them or just positioning well in teamfights to avoid them. being immobile means u have trouble against more mobile champions but this is normal this is an intended weakness as immobile champions tend to be the ones with bigger strengths that if not stopped quickly will ruin ur god dam life. if u cant catch a jinx and bring her down in a teamfight she will aoe crit u all to death. mages such as veigar which are immobile, if not immediatly killed will burst down ur squishy teammates and stun ur team. people say he has too much damage just like all immobile mages that is something which is there to balance his immobility, other immobile mages may have different ways of balancing that weakness such as strong cc.

Jinx has her passive which allows her to escape easily with either an assist, tower kill or kill so she does have some form of mobility, she is not strictly "immobile".

procing her passive means someone has already died in the enemy team. if u are being lets say... ganked by xin zao it doesnt matter her passive wont saver her. in any case i was just using her as an example everything else i said was still appliable and honestly dont talk about jinx's passive u dont play her or even enjoy playing adc if u did you'd know how hard it is to play her due to the lack of mobility and how unreliable her passive is unless u arein a team fight and have already positioned well and are in someway ahead. else its useless. so as i said she still needs good positioning to survive like any immobile champion. her passive has very little influence in how she deals with mobile junglers and such (like xin and jax).

She has no reliable mobility (and even that is an MS boost as opposed to a blink or dash) which is why she is generally classified as immobile. You catch her with her pants down there's no way she hops over a wall without burning summoner 4
