Fiddlestick's ult and hourglass combo is a cheap move

I don't have any problems with the hourglass item; however, I think it is very cheap for abilities to continue going even while hourglass is active. I'm sure there are other examples, but I can only recall seeing this with fiddlesticks. He ults in and then uses hourglass so you cannot target him, but you are standing in the middle of his ult, which keeps going even while hourglass is active. Fiddle's ult already does ALOT of damage over time, its not fair for him to be unforgettable, too. This especially allows him to trick 3 or more enemies into chasing him only to be killed in seconds by this combo... Anyway, I think if you activate hourglass, it should cancel your abilities, because this is really a cheap trick.

That's kind of what makes Fiddlesticks a horrifying presence and he's still squishy as heck when your able to destroy him ASAP. It's also used on many other champions such as Fizz in which can even improve his Trick and delay the enemy attack while his team destroys you, or how Morgana can also Flash, Ult, and Zhonya's as well. This item is pretty much a key, failsafe item that can determine most battles.

I've seen Fiddle players even mess up their combo in which render them useless. Heck even I messed up a Morgana combo in which costed me the team fight almost. You need to wait for that moment to strike, considering if your prepared for such an attack or you may end up being cc by the enemy team that supports Fiddle's ult combo. We already had Zhonya's Ring discarded a long time ago for being very powerful. I'd rather not see a debuffed item being scraped because of that in which would really render more champions a bit more difficult to play and I stress on the "bit"

Also on another note, there are plenty of things one can consider "Cheap" in this game, but we have to adapt to it. There are much more stressing problems than this.

Not much of a trick, he will always try to ult from the fog of war. If you see him try to stop the channeling before it goes off. If not just run away from him until the spell ends or use a displacement ability (flash, xin ult, vayne e, Jayce hammer form e etc etc) to create distance. And when he uses hourglass he can't move, so walk out of it. If you say "well he fears me and i can't get away" qss, cleanse, and merc treads all extremely effective counterplay items and abilities. Proper vision pretty much stops him from using his "cheap trick" entirely so there's that too...

Yes but remember that 50% of Fidds DoT is through Drain, which he can't use with Hourglass.

Giving up the ability to move and use other abilities is the trade off of hourglass. The solution is to have more map awareness and know he's going to try and pull that trick.

Is it a cheap move for me to throw all my skills as Ziggs, then hourglass while my ult and W continue doing damage? Is it cheap for me to load DoTs on as Casseopia or Teemo then trigger hourglass? No, it's the function of hourglass, it's what it's for. Many champions can pull similar tricks with hourglass, it's just intuitive and obvious to do it with fiddlesticks.
