You know, I'd really love to know how balance is determined.
But, for some reason, Rioters absolutely refuse to comment on anything I say that isn't patting them on the back.
-
I ask them how it's "fair and balanced" for the literal easiest champ in the game (Annie) to have the literal highest, teamfight-changing burst in the game.
-
I ask them how it's "fair and balanced" for the easiest, most reliable source of damage in the game to be the highest (AA spam).
-
I ask them how it's "fair and balanced" for someone like Fizz or Zed, who have so much safety it's absurd, to have so much damage it's stupid.
-
I ask them why they can't just reasonably nerf a champion instead of totally gutting their playstyle (Poppy).
-
I ask them why skillshots, by and large, do far, far less damage than targeted abilities.
... and I've never gotten a reply. Not once. When I ask the community, they just get upset, call me bad, and all that -- they can't answer the question either.
So, you know what that shows? That I'm right, and that balance is not a concern of Riot's in the slightest. They haven't nerfed Shyvana or Fizz because they have new skins coming up, and they want to milk whales. They don't make harder champs more rewarding because then the whales (who are mentally incompetent) wouldn't feel like they're good, and would stop throwing money at Riot... They don't actually balance their game because, in the long run, balance just isn't lucrative for an F2P cash grab.
Honestly, I just hope Beck, and people like him, go find some other industry to destroy. I haven't had a quality game to play in years -- and it's all thanks to fucking greedy assholes like him going around and ruining things for other people because they have massive insecurities, and use money to make themselves feel better about their shitty lives.

So much safety? Really?
