Overpowered champs

OlafRagnarson··3 votes·738 views

I have noticed that not matter what anyone posts about a champion being OP or broke, the majority of the comments will always be from people saying that that champion is not....or maybe even under powered if anything, and you just need to play better against that champion.

So, according to the people who respond to posts on this board, there are no OP champions or broke champions.

Man, there's 128 champions in this game. Do you really expect the Balance team to be able to keep all of them balanced when the Update team is pushing out updates faster than the Balance team can fix all 128 champions?

You guys have really high standards.

Since they are 2 heads of the same dragon, yes, yes we do expect them to be able to keep up. It's not the playerbase's fault that Riot can't balance as fast as they create. That's a problem that we, the end users, have to face.

Yes. They make hundreds of millions a year and are responsible for ONE game.

There are never champions OP beyond counterplay. There's no champ you can just win with. There will always be champions that have an advantage, and sometimes under sudden radical changes, like preseason, you might find a couple champions a bit heavily skewed. If you think a champ is op, buy it and play it. You may find that others will expose the counterplay better than you could.

Cough Jax/Mundo/Tahm/Illaoi cough

Or did you forget about those champs? These champs can play from behind... like WAAY behind. Get the right item and GG.

Jax's current imbalance comes from Guinsoo's, not the champ itself. This isn't an issue directed at the champion. Mundo, surprisingly enough, is countered by Grevious wounds and the ADC having the giant slayer item. Tahm is just a silly champion that is fully reliant on landing his tongue. Otherwise easily kiteable and a relatively negligible ult. Illaoi is overrated in that people don't understand how her tentacles work and don't understand not to stack against her. It's much easier to call her OP than learn how to work around her.

Okay first of all, Illaoi does always come from behind. And furthermore, its like Riot made her abilities as hard to understand as possible.

Quite honestly compared to the broken champions we've had in the past (release xin cough cough) no champion is really broken anymore sometimes it happens to be the combination of items, masteries and meta that favors them (looking at you brand right now) but the champion itself isn't broken.

On the other hand, useless champions that need buffs are far and wide too many.

Maybe it's because, I don't know, they know there are OP champions, but they simply disagree about the power state of the champion mentioned in the post. And when these type of people see something they disagree with, they like to argue with them. It's not the same people every time.
