I have to commend Riot making the keystones more mage friendly

Before, mages, didn't have much to pick from when compared to AD/auto attacking champs. They only really had Comet, Aery, and Electrocute. Some very unique champs were okay with phase rush and fleet foot, but overall, the options felt very limited when compared to AD.

But after waiting a whole season, riot made it so that mages can now also pick Conqueror and Dark Harvest. I love it and applaud riot for it. It shows they are really listening.

Now we just have to wait till season 10 for them to fix the sorcery tree and remove all the speed buff runes.

just an fyi conquerer does not work well on katarina, possible to be used but infinitely more useless in comparison to electrocute (if you consider her a mage cause she uses ap)

Any Battle Mage. Vlad, Cass, Karthus, etc. Their cooldowns are low enough that they can stack it and it actually gives more damage to mages than AD champions because of Adaptive Force.

Other than Cass and Ryze I don't see any mage using conqueror since they have way better or more important keystones to choose from.

Ive never seen ryze with conquerer, or ive never Played with These, i just Played with aery, cute, Phase and Comet, i dont want to try aftershock on ryze thats enough trigger for me but now conquerer, hell nah pls dont try im good with ryze dont try conquerer if want toll aftershock is enough! XXDDD

Theres a segment on a mobalytics video on it , i personally prefer comet.

I repeat my earlier statement to someone (dont know about the rest of the champs) but kata shouldnt be using conquerer cause its trash af. Dude are you high? Like you could use Aftershock spellbook even glacial augment was played on mages at one point. You could use predator on stuff like Annie that needs to get in close to do damage. Mage junglers could use the old dark harvest to about the same results as electrocute. Mages could use more than half the keystones. Compared to that bruisers didn't have a keystone for 4 months and were stuck trying to use spellbook and klepto to varying success. The difference isn't even funny

Meanwhile, tanks still in the gutter, still no real tanky keystone. (Grasp is very unrewarding except for very few champs and aftershock only good for people it's not intended for)

Riot need to remove the secondary tree and balance the primaries around their main audience so for example inspo secondaries are not constantly gutted because non-supports pick it as secondary. Too many variables for Riot's team. Runes mean too much and there is actually no room for versatility when that was the whole concept of having so many different runes. They even made it more friendly to champs that shouldn't be using a tree by changing the passive buffs to stat-stones or however the fuck they called, so for example ADCs picking secondaries not meant for them don't lose AttSp or be stuck with a bad passive. Exactly the opposite of what they should be doing.

Listen kid, tanks are not meant to be fantastic. Their purpose is to tank damage and that is fucking it. Besides, tank runes are broken.

What tank runes are broken? Do you mean aftershock? The only true tank keystone that is being used by anyone who doesn’t wanna be instagibbed because their kit is short ranged/melee ranged?

Well, there is no room for versatility when the standard runes that a champ takes can be tailored to EXACTLY fit them. If people had to lose things to gain things maybe the choices would all be more equal to eachother. Take ez for example, if klepto ez meant he gets NO secondary tree and NO stat runes, then MAYBE Dark Harvest Ez or PtA or w/e would be more on par with the Klepto.
