LCS play Legit Question

OK so right now im watching Immortals vs TSM.

What is it that im missing about this game on the "pro level."

Both of these teams literaly just started the game by running through the jungle into each others camps and then placing a ward in the exact same spot in front of each others 1st base turret. Then commenced to clearing each others jungle. Some walked past each other and didnt even engage.

Also another thing. Both teams just freely let their top and bot towers fall like in the 1st 4 minutes without even going to lane to defend.

What is the advantage to these strategies?

What is the point of going to each others jungle to clear them when you can just clear your own? And why just intentionally let your toers go down that early?

This is not the 1st time i seen it. its like its a common thing and its not to counter because you will see 3 from one team head to top or bot tower and then see 3 from other team head to opposite lane tower before they even see each other on the map to know thats what they are doing.

Warding their base = checking for the lane swap. LCS players like to bully the top laner a lot.

Trading bot for top tower.

Top is easy to gank.. but bot is more vulnerable If the ADC can push really hard. They can die really hard. Also, people do not try to duo push.. they will check for the flank because a double kill is really worth.

Running into each other's camps: denying jg CS. Easy communication with the team to know where the JG clear route is.

edit: also, if you invade the JG then the other JG has no choice but to be around the creeps that are not stolen. Makes the next gank much more predictable

Basically towers are so shitty that you can take them at level 2 and give gold to your team.

They let the towers fall for the global gold. And as for the way they jungle is because they are jungling on their strong side which is where their adc is.

ok thanks guys....still seems weird to me.

Do you think this style will become the norm on the non pro level?

lane swaps are rare..

and people don't counter jungle often.. they are too scared to unless they are shaco or rengar. Junglers in low elos are like: OH NO MY LANE IS GETTING GANKED IM COMING MATE. oh they died might as well cs now
