Manaless Champs/Certain Junglers & Riven

Don't reward you for dominating your lane against them.

Jungle Example 1: I'm completely destroying top laner, I'm blue side. I have a control ward in the river brush and a regular ward in their tri-bush. Next thing I know... screen goes black, I'm dead. Hi Nocturne ol buddy ol pal.

Jungle Example 2: I'm blue side top laner again, with control ward in river brush and a ward in their tri-bush. Minion wave is in the middle. Next thing I know, I have to summoner 4 under my turret and recall because Evelynn just appeared out of the middle bush top side. She walked from their tri-bush, past my regular ward, to the top of lane into their bush and across, then next thing I know she's on my face, no exclamation point warning.

Manaless Example: Laning against Rumble who is literally face rolling his abilities every 4 seconds or so and the thought crosses your mind, "He should have been out of mana like 10 face rolls ago." So now you have to recall even though you're winning lane, while he's still farming because you have a mana pool to manage. It's even more awkward when you were initially denying his farm, up 15 cs and half a level of experience. Short cooldown timers on these champs, no resource to manage, good damage, all wave clearing abilities with burst are high damage ults, stuns, slows, mobility, the works.

The Riven Example (she also fits into the manaless spammer category as well): So you've destroyed Riven's turret, won a trade against her and... her flash is down. You playing as Talon have on item 3009 and Riven is bootless with a item 3071... why for the love of God, can I not catch her. Oh yeah, because she's a champ with no resource so she's spamming her Q combo and E to create more space. Poor Talon never catches her. I could have gone with item 3117, but that item isn't effective because if a minion tickles me, I slow to a crawl.

Same concept applies when trying to catch DrMundo (slow), Garen Q, Shyvana W, Katarina WE, Kled RekSai Renekton Tryndamere .

And non mana champs but have an infinitely refillable source Aatrox LeeSin DrMundo Zed Kennen

Manaless champions that don't use health as a resource like Vlad or Zac tend to have longer cooldowns to compensate. Though yes, the CD reduction on Kat's E when she picks up a dagger is BS.

All these down votes, clearly your manaless mains are on this list.

The reason you can't catch Riven is because your only dash as Talon is extremely short and used for damage and either Riven is countering that by not getting near terrain or you're not using it effectively. Talon can go cover an entire map more quickly than any champion in the game most likely, except for Quinn and he may even beat her.

You didn't say if Nocturne example he was fed or not as well, only that you were in the example, also.

Good Rumbles are really annoying but you can build MR against them, it works, and in some situations early on it's better to just fight him in his fiery hell if you do more damage than he does, you just have to be confident in your damage. I actually rush a mantle in this matchup so I can do just that.

For Evelynn you could have placed a control ward in that bush instead of a normal one, it's not like you didn't know your normal ward wouldn't do much good unless someone was nearby to spot her.

You can dodge Mundo's cleavers, Garen's Q is annoying af though I have to give you that one, it basically guarantees his full combo on you, I can't think of many other champions who can get a guaranteed full combo off from one enhanced auto attack.

Katarina's E is an initiation and an escape mechanism, she has to use it for one and the other usually takes some time, unless she shunpos to a dagger. Early game it's still a long enough window before she gets her cooldown back as well even if she shunpos to a dagger, so you can abuse her early.

Renekton and Tryndamere are pretty hard to catch up to without any drawbacks, other than for Renekton he has to have 50% fury to dash twice. Reksai I wouldn't think is too hard to catch.

Lee Sin has to have high attack speed to actually get his resource refilled at a decent rate, and no one builds him with AS. I haven't played Aatrox but once and I don't even remember that time.

Mundo has to hit his cleavers, though it proccing on minions is kinda dumb imo. I rush a mantle into him too though because his cleavers deal magic damage and it makes winning early easier, and Zed's resource refills very slowly over time and he can do one rotation and one E before running out, at least it did before, but they buffed that and removed his W scaling AD so that might have buffed his spell rotations a bit.

Kennen is the only bullshit champion on this list that I actually agree with, and that's just because of his BS passive combined with his ult and speed boost making it where you can't really get out of it.

LMFAO!

I guess I should have it clear. My problem with those champs aren't fighting them, it's not being able to catch them when they run away.

Garen's Q = speed boost, can't catch him. Mundo Q = slows you, if you have to take the time to dodge the Q while chasing him, that still allows him to create distance. Katarina WE = speed boost and she can blink to allied minions/champions. Kennen = Speed boost makes it incredibly pointless to even try to keep up with him when he' running away.

Renekton doesn't have to have 50% fury to dash twice, he just hit to hit a minion/monster or champion, dashes to golems then dashes behind them to brambleback.

Mundo also has to turn to use his Q, so there really isn't any way that it allows him to create distance. Garen's Q, as I said, I have to give you that one, Katarina early game cannot do this if she shunpo's to a dagger, she still has a 3 second cooldown. W is also your third spell to level, so levels 1-2 are her weakest. Kennen is BS, Renekton is Renekton.
