For those of you who play aram/blind

I recently have been playing aram and blind norms to relieve stress from ranked. And ive been getting lv 29 and under players. Not only is the lv 30 grind so much easier to get now, which is ridiculous because it ruins the learning. When i was lv 29 i got the general idea of builds wards, etc. Ofc that was kind of a long time ago, now i see people who make it to lv 30 so much easier which makes me annoyed because they havent gained enough knowledge to play among the people before the update so it just seems dumb. So it feels like the people that are lv 29 have the mentality of when the rest of us were lv15-20. What is mmr? Like why even talk about it if you get paired with people past gold, and people under 30.

What is the message contained in this thread? Just seems like a rant. Also, why in Gameplay rather than miscellaneous?

Because it is about gameplay, lv 30 and under is gameplay. Aram and blind is gameplay. The message was they need to fix mmr or whatever the matching system is

I guess it squeezes in there lol. Now that I think about it and check the pinned threads in each section GD woulda been the closest... not sure why I suggested miscellaneous lol.

Anyways, nevermind that. How many ARAM/blind games have you played for it to still be grouping you with sub 30s? Are you by any chance premade queueing with sub 30s? (yes, I had to ask; humor me.)

Riot has also talked about making a ramp from 30 into ranked. We don't know yet how they're going to implement it though.

ii have played maybe over 100 aram games or more, (ive lost count) and no they werent premades, there is not a chance because you usually see others and their premades sticking kinda close together in aram etc. They need to make that ramp xD into a hill that is a climbbbbbbbbbb

It's fine, I checked your profile when I had the chance to log in.^^ Since you have roughly 150 Wins that probably means ~250-300 games. Depending on your win ratio it'll throw in lvl 20's to 30's. Are you getting people without keystones too?

I know premades engage together, I don't think I've noticed them huddling though and I have many many ARAM games played. You've have to op.gg them and check the 'recently played with' section to find out tbh.
There's probably quite a few more premades now due to box and key-hunting parties.

Yeah, but the ramp is a tricky thing too due to alt acc leveling and such, while at the same time finding the right balance between a climb and a grind. There's also a huge gulf in the skill levels of players within the lower leagues and even within each division. Maybe they'll have to add another layer? That might just postpone the problem though.

Some of my friends REALLY ARE NOOBS and when they played ranked they got Silver. They don't deserve silver At all. Lots of older players that previously played ranked got Bronze, battles really hard to go to Silver. And they have been playing years, has skills and deserves to be there. Lately anyone can become Silver if you have not been placed before. I don't know how They work out these scores, but I honestly think they should reflect on it. And aram is Totally unbalanced when it comes to gameplay. Like you said jojo, you have lots of noobs and ppl that have no idea how aram even works

Most first year accounts get silver by default. I'm not sure you can get Bronze the first year through placements. If you only do placements each year (like I only had time to do in S4 and S5) you will place progressively lower even if you consistently win most of them.
