the shroud is what make her toxic right now. A blink mixed with a true stealth we can't counter any longer. Someone ganking men? Press shroud to blink away . I get ambushed and i get cornered? Shroud over the wall! ... This ability is what make me hate akali. That and the zero cooldown Q that she spam on you all laning phase..
Long as they take the sustain off that makes akali tanky I'm fine with it.

What is next? Buffing Yasuo shield and wind wall because they are "iconic abilities", give me a break this is just plain stupidity. Indefensible design priorities.
