yes, quite easily

yes, quite easily
Except when he ints it down midlane a million times, drawing three to four of your teammates to stop him from taking yet more base towers, while you roams around farming is for free, picking off your other teammate or two, and taking free drags and Barons while scaling to insanity because Sion requires so much attention, even though he ends 4/13. Yeah that's quality gameplay for you right there. Yes this happened. Last night night, and I lost as a 19/6 Darius because we couldn't defend against both of those cheese champs at the same time.
People act like Sion is any different from any other split pusher like Tryndamere, Jax, Singed and even split push Teemo...
If you allow them to grow they will become a very big problem. So stop the from growing and kill their momentum early so that you can set them behind!
If you want to beat a split push Sion in lane the best way to do that is to pick a champion with a strong waveclear and not bother with Sion himself, if you can kill him do it but otherwise focus on wave clear. ##He can't damage your tower if he can't reach it.
If you're a jungler just gank him once or twice, set him behind, Int Sion needs his items in order to do anything... No
means using mana to wave clear, no
means no resistances.
And as it goes with all split pushers never forget about them because every moment you spend outside of your lane, they are farming and are slowly getting stronger and are slowly pushing your towers while you are wasting time on chasing kills and skirmishes.
#BUT!
If your team has done a good job in winning their lanes... All you have to do now is to just out push the split pusher. Eventually the split pusher will have to stop splitting because his team can't hold their own vs yours and are losing turrets faster than he can push yours and once the split pusher breaks the cycle of split pushing because of a weak team it's next to impossible to split push again because if he/she leaves their team to split push your team will kill them and eventually end the game.
##Split pushers rely entirely on whether or not their team can hold their own vs yours while also applying enough pressure to distract you from them so that they can chop your towers down.

That's assuming a lot dude. Like assuming that your team's going to win the 4v4 matchups. Nothing about your plan is truly proactive and simply delays the inevitable.
So...basically how fighting splitpushing works.
So...basically how fighting splitpushing works.
So basically you need a team to deal with you and a team to deal with inting Sion. Sadly you only have one team on your side, so you will be incapable of dealing with both effectively, this removing true counterplay, making it an unhealthy cheese strat. Neither of those champions are in a healthy spot rn.
I’m sorry but this sounds like how splitpushing just works in general.
LOL like he cant ult right past the minions and still take the towers.
He need minions near the turret otherwise his damage to it will be next to nothing early...
If you let him reach a point where he doesn't need mions to push towers that's on you.
In all honesty i would much rather be vs a split push Sion rather than a split push Tryndamere
Honestly Sion is kind of annoying since the new Inting strat came out, because even if you know how to shut him down he's literally going to be worth less and less gold which makes him almost valueless. But you still have to send your resources to him because he will just keep smashing towers, while getting a lot of CS so he actually ends up getting items even though he's probably not getting kills.
I seen a Sion mid not too long ago and he literally rammed it down mid the entire game, died like 16 times but he took the middle inhib at like 17 mins in. Other shit was going on around the map and we would have to constantly respond to him brainlessly shoving mid. The value he gave us for kills was literally less than a cannon minion but if we didn't stop him he was going to take every tower we had; and even though he was inting hardcore he had 3 completed items at 20 mins so he was actually kinda hard to kill.

This happened to me last night. He ended 4/13 or worse and still destroyed us because I couldn't babysit him AND the yi I had stomped earlier in lane.
if sion fights sion... is he beatable?
Sion mirror match is like watching a train wreck where the train is full of goose feathers and whoopee cushions.
Sion doesnt do too well vs two types of opponents.
& Kled
are examples of Melee fighters with mobility that can be tough opponents for Sion to beat. Both these champions have Percent HP damage in their kits as well, so that could be quite helpful.
& perhaps Darius
are well known users of the Conqueror Rune and can be real lane bullies. They have alot of damage in their kits thanks to free stats (Free Crit Chance & Armor Pen respectfully).
& possibly Vayne
have the ranged advantage in this matchup. While Sion can use Arcane Comet with [E] max in these lanes, Jayce's Accelerated Shock Blasts tend to hurt during the early-mid game. While Vayne Top lacks escapes, she might be a viable choice since she has her [W] Passive & can cancel Sion's [Q] channel with a well placed condemn.Sion loses...to the same things he's always lost to. Yasuo top stomps him, fiora will stomp him, damn near any fighter/ bruiser stomps him. Ornn stomps him. Just to name a few.

Which doesn't matter much when he starts inting down a different lane with zz rot and demolisher, while yi and the rest of his team goes another direction. And both require 3-4 to effectively deal with. Aka, if you deal with yi, you lose towers to Sion. If you deal with Sion, yi will take towers, kill your stragglers, take drags and Barons, farm free C's, and scale to insane levels. It's a lose - lose set of choices, which is pretty unfair tbh.

Take from it what you will. When I realized part way into the game it was an Inting sion I bought dark ring started playing split push Soraka. No need to ward. No need to really help my team. All I had to do was kill minions and towers. He fed us. Super easy game, he ruined it for 4 other players and should have been a reportable offense.
