Can we get ANY KIND of information regarding solo q ?

I'm tired of normals and have no motivation to play dynamic if I'm in a constant expectation for solo q. "Few weeks", like they said, have gone by quite a while ago and I still don't wanna play dynamic. I'd just like to know what is going on, because I don't wanna wait months for solo q and have it arrive just before the season ends or some shit like that.
