Yes there are fringe cases where this isn't an issue, but overall Sona feels weak for way to long. I'm talking 45% CDR and being level 9 or 10 and still struggling to have any meaningful impact on the game other then a well placed ultimate. I'm honestly not sure if it's the frequency of her casting or the low power of her utility skills, but dang if it isn't a slog to become an asset for your team.

So i guess it boils down to me wanting to know if she is useful to her team because she can get over 60% CDR OR if that comes from finally putting levels into your utility skills OR if it comes from hitting a tipping point where you have enough AP to make your abilities "powerful" individually rather then via spam tactics. Then it's just a matter of figuring out how to get to that point faster, so she doesn't seem to take till level 11 to get up and running.

La Belle Sauvage1 votesSona is extremely viable before 11. Especially the lower ELO you are. In my last 14 games I'm 10-4. Over 64 games I'm 41-23, with a 4.2/4.5/15.6 KDA.
I often provide a minimum of 15k DMG.
My last game? 6-5-25, with a double kill and around the25 minute Mark I was 4-1-9.
I'd say she's plenty viable.
