Volibear retcon has me worried the VGU will flop

with his new characterization I cant help but keep thinking about what he'll be like in the game

from what we know now I feel like Volibear is writing a big check for a "hard to satisfy" rework with all the themes and powers he has now.

• still has lightning powers
• has known to be a warmonger god since Ornn
• now has the Ursine army as a direct unit of his control
• off the above, has some weird mind melting powers that assimilate your spirit to his

I feel like these themes are all teaching so far that it makes his rework tricky. I feel like dedicating one spell to each thing isn't "enough," especially with how much people think he needs to have more lightning and storms since that's been his big thing since 2011, but if any of it gets left out then I would feel like it was incomplete

as much as I want the Ursine to be kit relevant as, maybe his ultimate, that comes with its own can of worms because AI champions are notoriously weighted towards low elo which is the OPPOSITE of where voli needs to go of this VGU really needs to happen. And AI heavy champions in general just don't really translate well into League because it has such limited coding compared to like DOTA which lets you assume control of units directly. (maybe that can be a mechanic for him though? Would be thematically appropriate)

I dunno man. I want all of it included but I don't know if it's a good idea to include it. But missing out on things that are so core to his new character would feel wrong.
