Riot Meddler, Scruffy, and Reav3s Continue to Ignore Karma

Karma's Win Rate Per Role:

Mid - 45.49% Support - 47.57% Top - 48.51%

The above precentages are the result of a VGU almost 7 years ago that removed everything interesting and fun about Karma. The VGU gave Karma no direction, no original concepts (half of her abilities are on other champions and two item actives), a disgusting and mess model and art, and finally the refusal to address her issues for the past 7 years have divided the karma community.

What is going on with Karma and what are Developers going to do?

Take a look at Akali and tell me again how relevant winrates are to the status of a chronically abused champion in pro play?

That's because they don't actually that to deal with the problem. The last time riot had planned karma changes they canceled them since some of her players got mad at them since they hurt the play style they wanted and riot refuses to accept to fix karma a good amount of her players will be mad at that they do.

Karma can't be a tank, enchanter, and a damage mage at the same time since that is how you END UP WITH SHIT LIKE THIS. Karma needs to be focused on one play style and not like 3.

For example lux is mainly a burst mage but can be played as a enchanter but that isn't what she is balanced around.

Like a lot of champions before her, she just finds funny ways to seep into the meta with dozens of FotM builds. This is typically caused by what's accessible outside of her kit - Runes/Keystones, Luck/Procs, Summoner Spells, Item Abilties. Those, I would confidently say, are what affected her to be nerfed/buff/changed to what she is now. She is ultimately the result of all the external changes to items, runes, and keystones.

The way she is now, I think she's fine the way she is now. I'm certain next season will provide Karma an arsenal of game changing gimmicks that can cause more upsets in the future.

As any champion main, just play to enjoy the champion, even with their imperfections.

Being <50% WR / PR doesn't necessarily mean they're in a bad state. It just means they're not preferred or doing well to changes happening to the game.

Nothing probably. And from their standpoint, that's probably the right decision. Riot Shot themselves in the foot with Karma. The relaunch split her fan-base between new and old. The following mini-rework split her fan-base again into 3 - one for each build. Any core changes they make to her at this point will piss off 3/4 (or more) of her fan-base. Her win rate may not be perfect, but she not in a bad spot and nothing is overbearingly broken. Keeping her net-neutral state is the best thing they can do from a PR standpoint (Not causing more bad press than they already have) and a resource standpoint (investing into more problematic champions).

I would love to see her addressed. I would love even more to see Old Karma revived. But I don't see where Riot as any reasonable incentive to do either.

Where did you get those stats from? I have seen many sites claiming Top Karma to have a winrate easily above 50%, so I was curious which one you took.
