Am I the only one hoping to land in Bronze ? (Ex Diamond)

I am currently 4-3 in my 10 placement matches.

If I land in Bronze V, I would be ecstatic because it means I will be able to massively boost my KD ratio and win/loss... whereas if I'm placed in Diamond again , my base stats will be the same as before because my opponents will be other Ex Diamonds.

I hope I am dropped down to Bronze for the ego boost and skyrocketing per-game stats.

Edit: Plat 4. Good.

Are you the kind of person who cares more about your personal gameplay rather than winning or losing? Are you satisfied going 10-2-7 playing a carry, yet losing? If so, go for it. But your teammates will probably feed and ruin game, just saying.

As I said, I'm Diamond so that pretty much answers your question right there.

Or I guess I was. We'll see where I am placed.

I'm in favor of dropping division after reset as well, but for entirely different reason - I got carried to where I was and I simply didn't belong there. However, I on the other hand am frightened by the sheer amount of trolls in lower divisions.

I don't know, should I tryhard so I can stay with ppl who are too good for me, or should I fall back to the place where teammates may handicap you entirely based on their mood?

As for our fellow here, I believe he wants to have fun while striving for victory, and landing in bronze will most certainly achieve that - though it may not be as fun for his bronze opponents. Steel yourself tho, players in lower divisions don't prioritize winning - if they even care about winning to begin with.

my d4-5 Supp main friend just finished his placements 5-5, hes got placed in plat 5. I don't think you'll drop much, somewhere in plat most likely.

Just queue with someone way worse than you. Do it enough and you should be able to get plenty of great stats.

If you really want the best stats, you should lose your first 50 games then work your way up by winning 2 games then losing 1 repeatedly until you finally get back to diamond. You'd have way way way more wins than losses and a crazy kda ratio. Unfortunately, since that kind of abusing the system exists in order to manipulate one's stats, the stats don't really mean much. I feel like your stats are only an accurate representation of how good you are if they're actually played in games at your real skill level.
