Aftershock Lissandra is insanely broken, and it's not Lissandras fault

I can't take it anymore. She dives fights she isn't suppose to be able to because aftershock gives her so much fucking effective health.

She provides to much lock down and damage for someone who can abuse aftershock.

E into flash W and proceeding to tank a shit ton of damage, while also having the option to ultimate herself or an important target, AND having the option of second stasis with zhonya.

Lissandra by herself is not a broken champion, she just abuses the fact that aftershock is no longer a tank rune. It just gives flat Armor/MR and it shouldn't.

Please do something with aftershock and give it back to its intended users, tanks

I think Aftershock Lissandra is a great example of an alternative playstyle that deserves support. It's not super broken like tank viktor, it requires a lot of game sense and vision control to do really well, and it seems to be within the realm of balance overall.

I completely agree. I'd probably be complaining if she was building like a normal mage, at this point. It's a neat counterpick option and it is right of Riot to support it.

While I generally do agree, I can't shake a feeling it's somewhat too reliable ATM. Combination of aftershock with double invulnerability and healing pretty much guarantees multiple rounds of damage and some thralls in a team fight. Which feels like somewhat you should work a little bit more for, especially due to high base damage on new passive.

Hmm? Even before Aftershock she was always a great engager. Engage, freeze the area, wait Zhonya, self ult, freeze the area again, team should of killed them by now! :)

It should probably only have one scaling. Introducing MR and armor scalings just makes it cluttered. Maybe they should increase the HP scaling on the damage.

Aftershock Lissandra is the biggest bs there is... It doesnt work in low elo people dont know how to use it and there is literally no reason for you to get upset over this because Liss is not a popula champion and soon she will fade into the abyss once mroe never to be palyed again.. So just wait out a few more weeks

i cant agree more, liss was a burst mage before this became meta and her recent changes made her even less bursty and more tanky, i hate her current state and she was my main. I wish riot actually stayed true to her initial role

aftershock is only used for her because shes able to deal with these high damage assasins and bruisers played mid (irelia LB zed etc) .... before we say but doesnt she counter them? in a way yes her ult counters zeds ult she CC counters mobility but majorty of times even if you CC them they still deal a good chunk for example if a talon is able to Q he can still chunk you with W Q and electrocute etc whereas with lissandra she can CC but she cant outdamage that ... she wins extended trades not burst trades so with aftershock it helps her reduce the damage a lot from burst trades

Stop right there. Aftershock is used on her because she can effectively proc it with W. Period. That godforsaken rune is great for any engage champion with hard CC.

Lissandra has always been a decent pick against melee AD because she can easily punish them pre-6 if played well. The only exception is Talon where almost all mages automatically lose lane to him at level 2 because of his base MR and MR scaling per level that gives him a massive level 2 power spike. Aftershock fixes this issue for Lissandra (who has access to CC at level 2), giving her ~73 armor (total of 96 armor at level 2). This amount of armor is literally the final nail in the coffin that makes it viable currently.

They just gave her damage nerfs all around thanks to the new passive. I think that she's in a fine spot. She is one of the only viable combat mages and even within that class has a unique identity. Keep her where she's at.
