Cassiopeia in 5 sentences. What should have been done.

Cassiopeia was slightly underpowered, yet could be played effectively. She just needed the former nerf to be undone (0.9 on Q reduced to 0.8 and E base damage reduced by 10) now that the WotA, Hextex Revolver and Haunting Guise combo is long fixed . Maybe she would have needed some more adjustment to face the new hyper mobile champions, not much maybe 5 less mana on Q .

A rework was completely uncalled for. Cassio was somebody who could've been fixed with just the slighest number tweaks.

She was reworked because of her oppressive early game more than anything else. It had very little to do with her power level.

Because it's so much of an annoyance to start with boots or grab movement runes to completely counter a character? Or counterpick her with a highly mobile mid laner like Yasuo, Zed, Talon, Ahri, Blanc or somebody who outranges her like Zyra, Lux, Ziggs or Xerath, or somebody who simply instantly kills her like Akali.

Better destroy a whole champion since you don't like counterplaying against a heavily delayed small hitbox skillshot amrite?

Yes. And that is why she was changed. She was definitely fine before but 99% of the community didn't like it and neither did Riot. God Karthus NA is right.

I don't like Zed, can cut his ratios by more than half and force him to 300 + CS to get back a part of it? Oh, don't forget to reduce the mobility and the cooldowns ahve to go up.

What a fucking ignorant and presumptuous post. I have played Cassiopeia since Season 1 and I recently got my smurf to Diamond playing only Cass with a 60-24 record. I know how she functions moreso that you can ever hope. A correctly played Cassio has absolutely no losing matchups; it doesn't matter if you can dodge some of her Q's because landing just a few is enough to apply incredible zoning and kill pressure, and this is especially true pre-rework.

Your garbage list of champions whom you think "counterpicks" really shows you have no clue what you're talking about. Yasuo, Talon, and Ahri all lose to Cassio and Akali just straight up gets destroyed.

You don't know how Cass works and you spat out such a shitty argument and randomly assumes that my incentive has anything to do with counterpicking. You're the reason why we can't have intelligent discussions in and why willful ignorance badly contaminates this community.

Like I can't even begin to understand why you even brought up anything about counterpicks. In fact, I see these types of shitty arguments coming from low Elo players more than anyone else.

If you don't know much about Cassio, don't bother making any claims.

99% sure she was reworked for the same reason Gragas was. To better fit the role she was envisioned for. Gragas was meant to be an AP bruiser, not a full on mage. And likewise, Cass was designed as an ap high DPS champion, not a glorified waveclearing machine.

Cass really doesnt have much to stop Kat, Fizz, Yasuo, and other mobile champs like them. She almost needs another rework to be viable in the meta.

I like your tone. Those who can't find arguments to prove their points by provoking and insulting. You just disqualified yourself in just 1 sentence for any further discussion.

You as a Karthus player who even names himself after the champ must be super existed that one of your counterpicks just was destroyed. Enjoy.
