Since riot nerfed every single top laner who counters her and their itemization, she soon will comeback. Manaless spammable shield with stupid AoE damage and a execute.

Eh. She has really bad sustain before vamp, and due to the base stat buff everyone she's against is tankier to begin with. In addition, anyone can build cloth armor and not have to worry about saving for a chainmail, making counter building her even easier.

Also, the minions seem to do a lot more damage, so if you force her to fight in a minion wave you can almost literally ignore her and let minions do the work.

If Riven is able to kill an entire minion wave before her first back while fighting you, at some point you really fucked up.

Otherwise, since her entire kit is physical damage chainmail and not feeding will 100% counter her. As long as you can go even and get some armor (made even easier this preseason) you should win.

And if she has doran shield? If you have no minions? 100% counter her because of not feeding? LOL her late game is stupid.
