because Akali, Jax, Graves, Irelia, Kaisa, and Lucian need to be banned, if and they aren't, and the enemy picks them, and you don't. You default lose the game. Sion isn't a default win, not really a required ban.

Pick up kled, darius or even yorick. Get sion. Play as him a little bit then you will know how to play against him.

Just admit that sion is currently a riot approved meta champion so it's expected to be braindead OP. Just wait till next season for him to go back to being trash and open the way for the next braindead OP champion and the cycle goes on.

It's sad how hard riot destroys the competitive aspect of this game. Just look at the pick and winrates of lucian, kai'sa, kha zix and the few other riot approved champs it's insane. And for weeks on end the shop has been cycling in every lucian, kha skin on sale. This week it's dark star khazix.

I remember the time I understood Sion. I thought I'd counter the HP stacking by playing vayne top. And then i saw how a good player can make the champ sing and i got stomped hard for underestimating him. I picked him back up and I really took off with him. One of the most fun champs in the game IMO.

What I'M SICK OF SEEING is the fucking inting sion strat. That shit is so fucking annoying, they can be shut down all game but all they have to do is "pull a tryndamere" and just push top, and if they die? "oh well I got a damage boost with my passive and I'm tanky as fuck so have fun stopping me :shrug:". Just got out of a game where almost all my team has a lot of heavy cc and damage. Yet their sion still can tank 2 nexus turrets and taken BOTH OF THEM with no minons/other champs before his passive finally fucking died.

Sion doesn't actually do that well against a lot of other lane bullies. You have to outplay them to break even but because of his w passive falling behind a little is usually alright. What he thrives against are characters who need to get near waves but can't heal up or shield repeated trades in the laning phase. So don't pick those into him.

Characters like Chogath and Urgot can pretty much do whatever they want to him.

Take out Kai'sa and that list is pretty much perfect. She recently got nerfed so she doesn't shred through hp as much anymore.

I personally have been one shot by a 0-5 illaoi as sion. That match up is aids and completely necessary to counter him. Aatrox Darius Chogath DrMundo Fiora Gnar Kled Viktor Vladimir Yorick Illaoi

Aatrox gnar viktor and vlad can all do untradable damage to sion. Unless Sion takes comet, these champions will all have an advantage in lane.

cho mundo fiora kled brand and gnar all have max hp damage, so they will have more of an advantage later in the game, and might still be able to fight him early on.

darius yorick illoai kled aatrox are all very good at zoning. They all have very good all in, split potential, and can more or less one shot a sion at most parts of the game.

So theoretically these are all good champions to use against sion.

You know there is a mode called draft, where you can ban those cancerous champions right? I permanently ban jax in my games because he is a counter for all my champions. Just ban sion if you hate him jeez.

Her gameplay pattern right now is extremely toxic.

The fact they are ignoring her when she has some of the highest win rates in the game with medium - high play rates is disturbing.

She's not played on pro play because she sucks on coordinated play, similar to an adc Ahri so it will take long for them to nerf her. The difference is that the Ahri winrate comes from being a safe midlaner that does everything average and MF winrate comes from lack of tanks plus soloQ players being braindead and eating the Q bounce.

But it seems that it's a new trend on this season, on last preseason when they released the reforged runes MF was stong for one patch and they nerfed immediatly Scorcery that she used on top of another E nerf, they were pretty quick that time but it seems that they dont care now.
