ItsCalledALance3 votesbecause people cry, and no one at riot mains either of them, so they are going to make a "hidden mechanic" that is specific to those champs. Rather than following the universal rules of those kind of "heal-on-hit" abilities.
they change them to act as a life steal that doesn't damage the enemy.

CrimsonCobra31 votesAll lifesteal works on turrets. Most damaging abilities do not. Xin's Three Talon Strike does not deal bonus damage to turrets. That aside, Xin Zhao is an older champion. They were probably being a lot more specific when they made Aatrox, and may not have even been coding those types of details into the game when Xin was made.
NotYourSideChick1 votesHave had games where we ace the team but xin and the tank and the xinxou just tanks the turrets and pushes SOLO WITHOUT MINIONS to the end with ease, while a 5 MAN TEAM cannot push at the same pace against a tank. If we send someone to kill him then he just TANKS THE TURRET and dives because of his heal. PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS RIOT. There is supposed to be an element of counterplay against every champion. So far playing against him the only two ways i can find counterplay is to 1 4v1 him then you have his team to worry about, or a champ that takes grevious wounds which is rare now, even then he is still a bitch to kill.
I'm a nasus main and have faced fed xinxou's and his healing is so powerful that I have been fed out my ass with nasus (700 stacks +) and still lost to him, even when he doesn't use bork active.

NotYourSideChick1 votesYeah I can understand that. Been taking turrets easily with only one or two damage items recently. Food for thought. If a malzahar's minion counts as a lane minion in that it gets rid of the armor/magic res buff on turrets, why not have a tank malzahar and another full ad (like trynd) run around and take turrets?
Disclaimer, I don't play malzahar so I have no idea if the minion gets rid of the turret's bonus armor/mr. It was just food for thought.
