Is Garen still worth banning?

He's not bugged anymore so he's not going to to assassinate anyone anymore. I really don't get why Garen is still being banned every 3 games... ...could because of Riven mains.

could be that even if he isn't OP, people don't want to deal him

The truth is he isn't OP. He has favorable and unfavorable lane match ups. He actually deals less damage than old Garen to anyone besides the Nemesis

I don't get it either. He does less damage than he used to unless you're the villain, and even then, his play patterns are already identical to how he was before the Juggernaut update. Run at the carries and spin on them. Honestly, there's been pretty much no net change when it comes to Garen. Morde and Darius are the real problems to look out for if you ask me

Garen Ban me if you can, justice fills all lanes ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Because people don't want to play against him because he's not really fun to play against

His tankiness still makes him semi-worth banning but I don't think nearly as much worth as some of the other brokens like Tahm or Irelia and various other problem-picks depending on whether you have a composition that can deal with them or not. I don't bother banning Darius simply because he's not worth banning if I'm the top-laner since I've already beaten this re-worked Darius in lane in all 12 matches against him this season with my team winning 11 of those 12 matches (and the one that my team lost was not even due to Darius being picked so I find Darius irrelevant even though everyone else still bans him).

Because people don't realize the enemy Garen got fed off your top laner underestimating his early damage, then proceeded to go full AD while still having some serious durability.
