The Herald change is solely because Riot refuses to listen

The bottom tower is too weak to be up against two laners. Simple as that. They could give it the buff that top and mid turrets have, but they refuse to.

Instead, they're just going to make Herald more contested with the chance it'll actually take down top before bot goes down.

Rather than fix the problem of the huge incentive there is to gank bot for the easy turret, they're opting to create the same problem for top lane in the hopes that things will even out.

No not really

What they are **trying **to do is create choices. If one team is making a play bot lane, the other team should be able to make a play on the other side of the map. Kind of like what jungle is ideally suppose to work. If you see someone taking your red, you try and take the other buff since they jungler can't be in more than one place at a time

The problem with this is, some buffs/objectives take too long and you normally can't take it because it will get contested by those who you thought were across the other side of the map. It's what happened with Rift Herald in the first place. No matter what, a jungler can solo the dragon. A rift herald will always need 2 to take down. In most cases, the players who made the bot lane play will continue to take the dragon/tower..etc and rift wont be taken.

If anything, when bot lane swaps to top lane, it will be taken by the bot lane again..

The strategy is just gonna become the same for each team: Rush for Rift Herald then everyone push mid and its GG lol
