Warning all people who want 10 Bans.

Skorch··5 votes·617 views

It may not be permanent, if riot adds it and there are people at 50% winrates being permabanned, they may just remove the 10 bans and go back to 6. Since with 10 bans people can ensure they never see certain champs that riot deems healthy at the moment. So don't be angry at riot if the 10 bans aren't added or get reverted. Be angry at the people that ban the 50% winrate champs that they just don't like to fight, are too lazy to learn how to fight.

No, people are down voting correctly. You are saying to not get angry at riot if 10 bans are not added which is an extremely uninformed statement to make. That is why you are getting down voted.

Oh i'm sorry did you forget the major problem is 'TOO MANY' unhealthy champions exist that cause problems and a literal full team roster can be made to dominate every lane just by having 3 of them as scum champions and 2 others being super strong at harassing down enemy teams to where those scum champions can rarely ever be touched?

If it was a matter of being 'too lazy' then explain how some champions just omni'dominate everything like Tank Yasuo, Tank Ekko, BEFORE the Lethality change in Pre-season 7 (aka season 6) Black Cleaver+Ghost Blade Lucian and Miss Fortune with same kit and pretty much alot of marksmen like Draven, Vayne and even Jhin turned out ridiculous levels of overpowered'ness. Xin'Zhao, Jax, Darius, Nautlius, Rengar(current state), Kha'six(current state), Le'blanc before and after the pre-season update and so many others can be registered as champions so strong they pretty much middle finger the majority of the rest of the enemy team roster.

Excluding the kits currently no longer existing and champions who were overpowered cause of broken kit building that cannot exist anymore cause of changes, but including ones who are still a pain in the neck. Just from what i listed alone That's about 12 in total, not counting Lucian cause the kit is gone, Jhin's always been a immobile sniper bully, just that ghost blade before lethality change let him get a free move speed boost with huge damage burst cause of the instant active attack speed gain. Draven pretty much fits the 'can harass you alot and then just E knock stun you, do a double enhanced Q hit and finish you off with a might as well be global ultimate skill shot that can even do 2 hits.

Ekko Draven Darius Jax Leblanc Khazix Nautilus Rengar Syndra Vayne XinZhao Yasuo MissFortune

Whether it be due to having kits that let them harass easily, gets such strong gameplay all across the board so they never fall off, but never started weak but are above the average level line the entire time, especially due to a simple gimmick like rush cap one particular skill first and just plain kits which let them be unkillable, deal massive amounts of damage even at level 1. They just can feel annoying to go against.

Not even counting other annoyances who can be annoying to go against in any way which include Syndra Heimerdinger Anivia Brand Pantheon Sion (ESPECIALLY SION) Tryndamere (Free turret dives just because his ultimate lets him ignore ALL damage from dealing a killing blow on him even under turrets? Seriously needs to cause that ultimate to drain faster if he takes turret damage or just large damage in general) Thresh (Such a BS champion with a blitzcrank hook, easy 'flay' gimmick to either push targets away or pull them in closer and that wind up damage bonus too, a lock down box to considerable slow targets and then a infinite distance lantern which lets him give team mates super easy mode escapes. Not even counting that though he lacks regular armor leveling, his Soul system lets him get super BS, especially against AD champions), Velkoz (You know a champion is stupid when it can have some ridiculous face roll keyboard combo all the time and unlike Ryze, he isn't screwed over early game on mana if he doesn't grab any max+ mana items early on).

Plenty can be listed and plenty can say 'Git Good' but its a major difference when 'git good' can't work if you can't have a good team setup to manage against most of those scum type champions, especially when some of them can't fall off in power and can constantly turret wall you and poke you to death with simple long range chain casting, yet still can easily walk away with ease from a gank from your jungler even if he is slightly feed from kills already but can't hard CC the target from escaping.

So considering we have a large champion roster and a good batch of those are scum pick champions, very sure they will not abandon the 10 ban list system and just revert it back, since it would at least force the people auto locking those champions to instead learn to 'git good' with playing other champions.

[zombie-brand-clap]

PS yes i realized i put Syndra twice, was intentional because she is just like Heimdinger and how Azir used to be, super huge bullies at dominating the mid lane and constantly zone out opponents without letting them to take back control without melting a huge bar of health of them first.

WAY TLDR And it doesnt matter if YOU deem things unhealthy, it depends on if riot finds a champion THEY think is healthy getting banned because theyre a meme.

One possible solution is to stagger the bans. In stead of banning all 10 champs up front, ban 6, then have each team pick their first 3 champions, ban 4, and then finish selecting your champions.

of coarse their may be variations to this method, the idea is that your early bans are still limited, which could leave a powerful champion still on the table. but when you get to the second banning portion, your remaining ban becomes a lot more strategic, since you already have partial knowledge of the enemy team comp. (Enemy team still needs an ADC? Ban Vayne)

I just don't like it because lobbies will be longer

That was one of Riot's main concerns. My guess is that they will have players ban 2 at a time or something, in order to speed it up.

The fact that there are champions that will be permabanned is a testament that Riot needs to take a hard look at many champs.

10 bans would be good for balance, if anything.

If riot does something as retarded as reverting bans down to 6, you have no one to blame besides riot. there is no reason to deflect blame, riot has 100% control on the number of bans and league 100% needs at least 10 bans.

There is no defense for riot not making the change or reverting the change in the future.
