I feel like Iceborn Gauntlet should be removed from the game

Before you submerge me in downvotes, I want you to hear me out...

Ask yourself: when has this item ever been in a state where it wasn't absolute garbage or overpowered. And even in its worst of worst states, it had extremely high abuse cases, most notably Blue Ez which is still one of the most cancerous builds/play styles that exist. It has always been one of those items that up until recently, was designed for fighters/tanks but was abused by ranged champions. Tanks don't even build it for the slow, they build it for the damage and CDR, and mana too to an extent.

My biggest issue with the item is that it offers 20% CDR while having the 1.5 second sheen proc effect, giving tanks reasonable good DPS early/mid game. Not until very late game does it fall off. And the biggest problem with tanks this season has been how much damage they're putting out while being incredibly hard to kill.

It's the closet thing to an AD/armor item we will ever see again and you can see why it's such a problem. And I'm not a fan of damage items that give respectable damage with huge defensive stats as well, especially when it's an item an already durable/hard to kill class is going to build only for the sake of soloing backlines while being hard to kill, which is an incredibly unhealthy style of play. And with grasp of the undying and the masteries in utility tree that also give multiplictive damage scaling, tanks are doing an absurd amount of damage.

Items like sunfire and deadmans don't bother me because sunfire is cost inefficient and deadmans requires momentum build up for one big pop.

I would propose removing the item and buffing deadmans and making Frozen Heart a bit cheaper so tanks still have a good mana/armor item pick up.

This is where tank mains tell me tanks suck. Okay, that's all I have to write: bury me in downvotes now (thanks for reading)
