Daily reminder that trolls in champ select can decide games

I seriously had to dodge 2 ranked games in the past 2 days due to the trolls in champ select. Our player that had agreed to supp as last pick decided last second that nah, he wanted to ADC. I had already locked in Lucian as second pick, and he picks Vayne. No one else will dodge, so I am forced too. Thanks Riot for letting this continuously happen after 5 years, and doing absolutely nothing about it.

Now I get to wait 15 mins for a game where I was hoping to play 1 game before work, but now after waiting for this, and the queue timer + another champ select that ALSO might have to be dodged by another member means I won't be able to play this game. And on top of all that, of course I lose LP. Keep making those skins Riot.

According to rito, this isn't an issue. The only issue in the game is ragers.

That's all you dodged for? Pls. Duo ADC bot works half the time.

That's half the work of being on a team of people, making them work together. Some people REALLY hate supporting, which isn't surprising considering how supports are treated by some ADCs.

Instead of just leaving an unproductive rant, how about a suggestion about how to improve the situation?

As far as I can tell, the best way to improve this situation would be to improve the tribunal and give them more tools in assessing the validity of reports, as well as Riot taking a more strict stance regarding trolling.

I have never participated in the tribunal, so I cannot say exactly what information they do or do not have access to, but ideally they would have access to pre and post game chat lobbies, in game chat for both teams as well as all chat, access to build orders for champions, information regarding location of deaths throughout the game. Disregarding the chat information, I know that all the other information is available in match history, and see no reason why this data shouldn't be available to tribunal users. Using all of this information, trolls could accurately be identified and then all that would be required is a strict policy (low priority queue, etc) be applied to these people.

How about, I already have; it falls on deaf ears. Hence why this is a DAILY REMINDER of the issue. Riots aware of the issue, and multiple fixes have been proposed, some from myself specifically. However Riot is too busy making skins and new champions and promoting eSports to give a shit about the casual player base around the Gold and Plat levels that run rampant with trolls.

The only hope is that posts like these can run at the top of the forum boards for all to see; specifically new comers or visitors to the site that are interested in trying the game. Maybe when it starts impacting their numbers they will care; however I highly doubt that. After reading a number of Lytes and Tryndameres posts it's become apparent that League is mostly run by egotistical morons that feel they can do absolutely no wrong.
