Dravens Passive
Can we please give him back his old passive? He was created to be a lane bully and he still feels like one in certain match ups, but there are a ton of match ups where its a little scary to take him into. Namely Ashe. Varus. Graves.

nope. im not going to lie i wish i could play with it tho. He is my favorite champ.
It was impossible to deal with, it was to the point where you say oh its draven (if he has peel) well GG cause he will insta win early game and Draven late game is no joke if he can catch axes.
So you're sad that now he has counters instead of just being OP? lol

Not really, he does feel like a lane bully in a lot of lanes. I just think snowballing is a toxic mechanic. Thats why they removed leviathan item. And his passive is litterally a snowball mechanic that adds zero tactiacal gameplay. His Q adds a ton and is really fun, and (without actually knowing what its like to play with or against his old passive) it seems like his old passive would add some tactical depth too..
Im not a fan of his current passive. Just seems like more snowballing in an already snowballing lane/game
His old passive might have been toxic, but so is his new one. Snowballing is pretty toxic to solo q. Snowballing is the reason players abuse each other. Kat gets snowballed. Rage. Yi gets snowballed. Rage. Unless its your teammate getting snowballed that is.
It only snowballs if he's being fed. It has no direct assistance in a fight. It's not a matter of "He will snowball." It's a matter of "It gives him a chance to snowball or he will be useless".

Yea. Its a snowballing mechanic. Whats your point?

My point is that Draven is a champion that is behind until he snowballs. He requires lots of preparation and positioning to even try and snowball. His passive isn't there just filling him with gold. Draven has 4 abilities to actively help in a fight, unlike almost everyone else's who's is 5. If Draven's new passive is such a Toxic thing, so is Twisted Fate's by that logic but it's not. He trades the potential to snowball for below average normal prowess. And even snowballed, he's an ADC with soft CC and no mobility so he is still very easily killable, unlike snowballed assassins or fighters.

Its toxic because I either get so fed in lane that the game is really easy, or I dont get fed and the game is unbearably hard. Or something along those lines. And its gennerally harder when not fed than easy when fed.
Not unbearably hard, unless your team cant peel and you cant catch axe than yeah youre in trouble. But if its an even lane your fine, and late game if you can catch axes youre a God in terms of sheer damage. No one beats him in sheer damage if he can catch axes, one AA half your hp or more if your squishy.
And his passive before WAS UNBEARABLE early to deal with. If they reduce the damage give it a CD then fine im down but either than that, his passive right now isnt even that bad
I would be fine if they'd bring it back. ONLY IF
They reduce the damage ticks it did at early level drastically.
The reason Draven could dominate was his early-game Q + bleed ticks were seriously crippling to being able to out-damage him in fights. He was OPPRESSIVE in damage values until level 9. The moment he had his Q (Oh, you mean level 1) he couldn't be beaten in-lane early unless he was horribly bad at catching his axes, and kiting/dodging skillshots (back when Ezreal was a popular ADC).

I read somewhere that the bleed just straight up stacks like darius's bleed. Seemed a little high to me lol. Maybe the duration needed to be shorter or the duration could scale with the number of stacks.
The current passive is a little lame and is probably the main reason he doesnt see lcs play. The whole early to mid game is focused on not giving him a kill (for the enemy) and finding a way to cash in (for draven's team) and I think thats too focused on the adc.

The bleed didn't 'stack', but it reset per each hit, plus the first tick of damage from the bleed auto-applied the moment a critical, or Q-bonus hit you. That, and the value of the bleed was dictated by this formula. 30 + Dravens level * 4 of bleed damage (physical) over 4 seconds.
So..If Draven was level 1, he would deal 34 physical damage over 4 seconds. Level 2 = 38 Level 3 = 42 Level 4 = 46 Level 5 = 50 Level 6 = 54 Level 7 = 58 Level 8 = 62 Level 9 = 66 Level 10 = 70 Level 11 = 74 Level 12 = 78 Level 13 = 82 Level 14 = 86 Level 15 = 90 Level 16 = 94 Level 17 = 98 Level 18 = 102
the late-game numbers didn't matter very much since the bleed would be mitigated by armor. But the early value of an additional 34 damage at level 1? It was absurdly broken. Why was it that Draven would get 34 bleed, while Twitch would only get 12 true damage over 6 seconds from one stack, compared to his 34 in 4? Along with that, his Q steroid would give a serious bump-up in damage. It should've been much, much lower bleed at level 1-6.
