Can we lower the mana on Taric's heal?
In early game, costing 60 mana may not be cheap but its way better than late game when it costs 140 per use.
Is this spell suppose to be spam-able or is it suppose to be powerful? Because either way, it fails. Also, please wait until the end to leave comments dictating why it was designed this way.
First off, lets see the weaknesses added to Taric's heal, which are its lack of efficient heals, high cost, and little results to those around it. The previous heal may not be an AoE but it did do its job and had a great secondary ability that gave Taric more of a heal if used on himself. Since you and the ally do not at least get any bonus to the heal at all, why does it cost so high?
Wouldn't it be better if it cost less at least while its charging. Costing from 40/60/80/100/120 - 50/70/90/110/130 - 60/80/100/120/140 would be the smarter way of implementing this system while its charging from 1 to 2, and from 2 to 3.
But even then the heal is pretty weak and doesn't do much else than give about maybe 250 health at most at rank 5. Why? Because most (like me) play Taric as a Tank, and will typically get tanky items. But with the high mana cost on his Q, its wiser to start off getting Armor+Mana at the start and getting a few health related items and possibly a few to no AP items. With about 1000 health, anyway, he can take at most 4.5% of this and use it as a bonus heal to give only about +45 heal, so add to the fact that you may at most get from around 2000-4000 health at most if you are also trying to get some mana items. And if you want to risk it, you can get the item that allows all three.
Yet the end result stays mostly the same, as you get to at most 350 worth of a heal for 140 mana.
Am I asking for the heal itself to be buffed? No. Would I like the heal to be buffed? Yes.
What I'm asking for is simple and barely game changing; lower the cost from 60/80/100/120/140 to 60/70/80/90/100. This will be the best thing you could do to Taric for now that won't make him either overpowered and/or in need of other changes or nerfs.
If they could or would implement the system of having the spell be cheaper if used before it reaches its third charge, I'd be all the more happier but I'm pretty sure just the former sentence will be all I need to play Taric at his best again.
